When fully collapsed, they stand 5 inches tall. When it's open, it's at least 24 hours. On my trailer, I'm not sure if they're fully open. They're nice heavy-duty jacks that are simple to install and cost a reasonable amount of money.

a fantastic low-cost alternative I ordered two sets for my camper and was disappointed that the hardware did not come with them; I had to go to a hardware store and purchase bolts separately to complete the job

NOT INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE ARE THE HARDWARE! They've been installed, and they're very well-made and sturdy. It's excellent value for money. It's great to have a low-cost but high-quality alternative.
