The scissor jack's sole purpose is to be used as a holding jack. An auxiliary hand-pumped hydraulic jack is required to lift the trailer. The scissor is the only thing that keeps you from falling.

These were purchased as an upgrade to the factory stabilizers, which are most likely Lippert as well, based on their labels. At first, I was blown away. They were noticeably thicker and heavier than usual. That impression lasted only a few moments. They rusted during the first weekend outing following installation! The screw, the nut, and the pivot rivet. One of them failed 30 days after installation, on our fourth outing. I heard a pop and the jack opened all the way to the ground as I was raising it. All of the welds on the washer that is supposed to keep the long bolt in place have rusted. Zip ties were the only thing available. I'd like to return these, but the Amazon return window has passed me by. We'll have to wait and see how Lippert backs up their garbage.
Following a wheel separation that bent my original scissor jack, I needed to replace it. These jacks looked and worked exactly like the ones that came with my car. The jacks that came with the trailer were welded to the frame. The new jacks' mounting brackets were simple to disassemble, allowing me to simply bolt them to the welded brackets I already had. It only took a few minutes to complete the process, and the final product looks brand new.
The base is narrow and will not fit the plastic orange RV trailer blocks (it will not level), but it is otherwise a good product.
Because these weren't the same bolt pattern as the originals, but were of a different brand, drilling two new holes wasn't a big deal to me. All four were replaced in less than 45 minutes.
I purchased these for my 30' trailer, but I'm also building a shed and used one to lift a 20'x12' wall by myself. The drill attachment is extremely useful. Next, I'm going to stow them beneath the trailer.
They were relatively simple to set up and have proven to be effective thus far.
It did exactly what it said it would do. The movement is fluid.
It comes with all of the necessary hardware.
