Questions & Answers

Is this something I could use for a non-profit organization? Do you have a riding lawnmower?

No way, using this on a push mower would be useless. A rickety folding card table is the best place to service a push mower!

To raise the jack to full height, how many turns of the crank are required?

I'm not sure how many there are, but it's not a lot, and it's about as few as possible to keep the effort to a minimum. I'm an 850-pound woman who has a lot of energy. It's a 900 bagger, and it's quite stiff. After it makes initial contact, I'm thinking of using an impact wrench or a 1/2" drill motor with a 7/8" socket to raise it.

Is there a limit to how tall you can be?

75".

What is the shortest distance between two points? How low can you go on a low-riding motorcycle to get underneath it?

I believe the promo mentions low deck height.br>However, I have a 06 fatboy that is lowered, and when I slide the lift under it, there is approximately 1. 5 inches clearancebr>It works great and I highly recommend itbr>I tried one of the harbor freight lifts and it was too tall to fit under the framebr>Hope this helps.

Terrible
3/5

On this lift, I wouldn't even put a trycile. The entire thing rocks back and forth, as you can see in the video. It's possible that your bike will come to a halt. It's very flimsy.

Although it is a good lift, it is not foolproof
4/5

To begin, I'll state that I've only used this device once, when my bike (a 2017 Triumph Bonneville) sat on it for three days. I saw a lot of negative reviews, but after reading them, I realized that every single one of them was written by someone who raised it with an impact wrench. I'm not sure why anyone would do something so incredibly stupid and lazy. Simply put, a t-shirt will suffice. It works fine with a handle or a ratchet to raise and lower it, but it will break if you impact it with anything that isn't impact rated. Mine was in good working order when it arrived, and it had already paid for itself. For peace of mind, I wish it had a non-slip bottom, but it did not slip or appear to be unsteady. I was pleased with how solid the bike felt and how well it stayed planted on the lift. br>br>As long as you don't act like a slacker, you'll be fine.

The pace is steady and the environment is secure

My Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Classic remained relatively stable while I removed the front and rear wheels, which worked well for the size. After raising it with the liftmaster, I did use a bottle jack to balance the rear trailing arm.

Using an impact wrench is not a good idea
3/5

I couldn't find a disclaimer for this jack that mentioned impact wrenches. This was mentioned by another reviewer, but I didn't notice it. The set screw that secures the collar on the main screw under the deck can be rattled out with an impact wrench (see image 1). The set screw is essentially resting on top of the main screw. To put it another way, the main screw must have a small hole for the set screw to lock the collar in place and prevent it from moving on the main screw. When the set screw backs out and the collar slips out of place, the main screw threads through the lateral cross member under the jack, resulting in stripped threads (see image 2). Please accept my apologies for the run-on sentence. br>br>Another reviewer mentioned that his video had a sway issue. I countered this by placing wood blocks beneath the top deck and lowering the jack onto the wood blocks (see picture 3).

The first time I used it, the damned thing broke! Parts flew through the air, and the $30K bike crashed to the ground
3/5

I caught it before it tipped over, but I'm sure I'll be paying a chiropractor bill on Monday as a result. S Piece of Art of With a bicycle, I wouldn't put my trust in it. With just one roll pin, the whole thing was held together.

The quality is terrible

Within 5 minutes of removing this piece of fecal material from the box, the threaded rod that drives the jack up and down had stripped out. I was unable to properly service my bike because it was completely worthless. Junkity Junkity Junkity Junkity Junkity Junkity Junkity Junk.

A heavy-duty work of art that is also functional. It's a great buy at a great price, and it's just right. I highly recommend it.

If You Want To Drop Your Bike, Buy This Product
3/5

I used this product a few times with no problems until the safety pin, which is the only thing holding the jack up, fell out today. My bike was on the verge of colliding with the pavement. To keep it from hitting me, I had to use my entire body. I can't even get in touch with the manufacturer to ask about the warranty. When you look up LiftMaster on the internet, you'll find that they only sell garage door openers. I tried chatting with them and calling their customer service, but they deny that they make motorcycle jacks at all. Awesome.
