Better would have been nice
3/5

I wanted to give the jack a chance to really live with the jack before reviewing it. I waited over six months to take a look at this. There is a lot of friction when operating this jack. My experience with floor jacks has led me to this one being the stiffest. I mean by stiff, I mean you have to wrench on the handle with both fists to close the valve hard enough to prevent sinking from pressure loss under load. It is, of course, necessary to turn the valve at least as difficult to let down the vehicle when this is done. Similarly, the handle to piston design causes a very stiff experience when jacking due to binding. This design is also used on other floor jacks (cheap jacks), however, this one has no such issue. It consistently comes apart after a couple of months due to poorly threaded screws holding the handles together. Using a drill bit and clevis pin, I was able to remedy this. To keep myself from pushing this jack into the alley, I had to grease the heck out of it and keep working on it for a while. In the future, I would not consider buying this jack. You can find better products for your money if you can wait until a sale comes around. Update
My coupling pin for the piston to handle broke on 4/1/20 while the jack was supporting an engine. I had to use a bottle jack to support the engine next to the jack until it could be removed. Some kind of junk metal from China made up the pin. It's been replacing the pin since I bought the floor jack and I've subsequently upgraded it to a better model. The backup file will be used to ensure data integrity.

Here's an update! That's a great looking A brief update on this jack is presented here
4/5

In the past, I gave it a bad rating, and I've now changed that. In 2 years, the jack stopped pumping up, and I was about to give up on it. My anger led me to give the product 1 star and a poor A small amount of hydraulic fluid had been lost, I found out. In this case, I refilled it with fresh water and subsequently cleared any It now works perfectly and is as strong as before! Therefore, I would recommend this product to everyone. Make sure your hydraulic fluid is not too low. Jack you are a great guy!.

The jack is not what I expected
3/5

This product is large and heavy, and one would expect that it would be very strong. There are two springs on each side of the handle where it plugs in at the front of the jack. Both are held in place by a very weak looking welded pin. There is a very high probability that one of those will break first. A lot of bearings seem to be missing in the wheel casters , they work, but how long will they last? As soon as I arrived, I slid the jack under my F-head and it worked fine For the front wheel you will need 250 to jack it up. Eventually, it managed to lift the truck, but it took a lot of handle force to do so. A small 1 1/2 ton floor jack I've had for 20 years was much more difficult to use with this jack than the little jack I bought. Including the same truck, it jacks up with ease. Obviously, I won't return it since it would be a real hassle to do so, but I doubt I will get 20 years use out of it. It took me a long time to find the perfect jack and I read several reviews before I bought it. The answer is that there are a lot of them, but most have poor reviews, so if this is the best one, it's not great.

Good to know- Super heavy duty, built to last
4/5

The machine is super heavy duty, and it's well designed The building was built with a The only reason this box loses a star is because it is so inadequate that the lift pad has been lost. But to the manufacturer's credit, they did manage to get the lift pad back. As soon as I called, they sent me one right away without any nonsense (I had The holidays were during this period).

I found the price to be very reasonable
5/5

It is quite heavy, but it is to be expected of steel jacks. The jack I used to raise my 3500 GMC Savana Cargo Van lifted very well. Lifting the vehicle up for a tire change only takes a few pumps of the handle. Although it is very heavy, it can easily be wheeled around. While the rubber pad on the jack is useful in providing good traction with your vehicle, it does fall off easily, so keep an eye out for After letting it out in the rain once, the paint developed a little rust. However, it continues to work very well. cumbersome to lower slowly. If you wish to descend at a controlled speed, you need to be particularly careful when rotating the handle. Considering the price, I would say this is a great jack.

The 7000-pound lift capacity of this Jack is impressive
4/5

Two of the five stars were deducted for two reasons, neither of which has any impact on the jack's ability to meet The first thing I would have done was use a removable pin to hold the two halves of the handle together. Instead, there are two small screws with threaded holes on the inside of the The holes in them will be drilled out, so a pin can be used if they break. Two, I was confused about how the collar attached to the shaft of the piston fitted onto the bracket of the handle. If you hold the handle in the full up position, the collar twists and appears to be about to fall A full seat is found on the shaft when it is in the down position. Trying to assess how it worked, I let it bother me for some time as I lifted and lowered the handle. It took me a while to get used to this odd fit, but when it seemed that it wouldn't simply fall off, I felt more comfortable. I checked 737) and they showed the same angle as I had worried about. To illustrate my concerns, here is a pic of my initial concern As an alternative, release the jack slowly when loaded a slight turn of the handle will allow the weight to fall quickly. Use caution when handling the jack. Lastly, I have a few words to say. It was not mentioned that a spring was attached to the handle bracket to hold it in place while in transport. To remove the spring, you must remove the handle lock bolt, and if you are not careful the spring will snap out when the bolt is removed. After taking the spring off the bolt, I suggest that you move the handle up or down to find a spot where the pressure is lower before undoing the bolt. (The spring is not needed anymore unless perhaps you intend to mail the jack later). I was unable to attach a picture to this message. You can see beneath the handle bracket of the jack by following the handle down in the first picture. The collar that is attached to the piston shaft should show an angle. It is an odd way of engineering this, I think,.
