Questions & Answers

Will this jack fit a 2017 Dodge 2500 with a 6 cylinder engine? Cummins diesel with a capacity of 7 liters? It's about 8,000 pounds in weight. ?

Yes. When you jack up any wheel or front/back end, you're lifting half of the 8000 pounds. the total weight The jack has a weight capacity of 7000 pounds. It's nearly capable of lifting the entire vehicle. Even the heavier end of the diesel shouldn't be an issue.

What is the location of production?

The following materials are used to construct the High Lift Jack: Hi- Bloomfield, IN 47424; Lift Jack Company, Bloomfield, IN 47424; Wed: http. //www. hi- lift. com; Phone: 800- 233- 2051 I hope this has provided you with the information you require.

Good day, vendor! According to some sellers, the 36" weighs 31 pounds. What does it mean when it says 33 pounds? It's difficult to accept. How much does the 48" weigh?

Consider your options. It is quite straightforward. The 48-inch jack is 12 inches longer than the 36-inch jack - The only difference is that Because the jack shaft is about 1/2" thick and 2" wide, 12 x 2 x 1/2 equals 12 cu inches of extra steel at 0. 3.29 lbs per cubic inch 48 lbs. Now consider all of the holes and assume that 40% material is removed so you have 3. 48 x . 6 (60%) = 2 lbs - 6 (60%) = 2 lbs - 6 (60%)% That is the difference in weight.

This is a fantastic tool to have on hand
5/5

If you deviate from the path- This is an important tool to have in your vehicle. Please, for the love of God, learn how to use a hi-fi system. Before you use the jack, make sure it's properly raised. If used incorrectly, it can be a very hazardous tool. I went with the X-ray option. I'd rather not cut corners on something that's holding my Jeep up or assisting me in recovery, so I went with the Treme version. These jacks can also be used to extricate people from car wrecks as "jaws of life. " I'm a paramedic who does a lot of driving, so I see a lot of those, and if I can help in any way, like having a jack, I'll do my best. br>br>If you can afford it, I'd also recommend getting a hi-tech version of one of these. If you don't have a winch mounted on your vehicle, a lift recovery kit or something similar can be used as a winch. br>br>This jack has saved my butt a number of times, as well as the butts of many others with whom I wheel. If you're new to off-roading and want to learn more about it, I recommend buying one of these and keeping it with you at all times if you're going off-roading. If you keep it inside your vehicle, it will be bulky, so try to mount it outside, like on your roof rack.

Jack is a ferocious creature
5/5

This jack is a man's jack, which means it's tough and heavy. br>If it works as it should right out of the box, I believe it will meet or exceed most of your expectations. If it isn't, return it and request a replacement. br>Anything made by man can have flaws, and quality control isn't always reliable. br>Now, let's talk about the powder coat finish on the Xtreme, which has been criticized by customers. br>Where metal rubs metal, the powder coat chips off, but I'm not aware of any material that won't come off if rubbed long and hard enough. br>Because the powder coat is hard and brittle, it will come off if it is wacked or scraped hard enough. br>I doubt they spent much time or money making the powder coat bulletproof. Having said that, be prepared to be disappointed if the additional cost of the powder coat disappoints you if it peels off in spots. br>I bought the jack for farm use, so I can't comment on the sporting aspect. br>Based on user feedback, it performs admirably off-road. br>Because the jack is built like a tank, I can't imagine it not being able to lift anything reasonable. br>I'm sure it has a weight limit, but I can't think of anything it won't lift in the automotive range. br>Even if the powder coat comes off, I would buy it again for my needs. br>If you look after it, it will last you a long time.

Excellent tool with a ludicrous finish
4/5

This is an excellent resource. My jack's powder coating was a joke; see photos of my jack right out of the box with poor coating. I had to give it a shot and went with the Hi-Def version. To rotate the 35's on my lifted (4 inches) Jeep Wrangler, I used a lift and jack stands. Blocking and cranking the bottle jack is a lot more enjoyable, and it's also a lot faster. br>br>The first thing I did was oil the beast, but the coating scraped right off the main beam of the jack on the first use. Either I got a lemon or their description of "high quality durable powder coat" is completely inaccurate. This is my first time using a high lift type jack, and I believe it will be extremely useful. br>br>I was sent the incorrect jack at first. Instead of the 48 X-Plane, I received the 42 "UTV" version. I wanted something extreme, so I got it. I didn't notice the UTV sticker on the outside of the box because I didn't notice it. When I received the proper jack, it, too, had a sticker on the otherwise plain box designating it as the x-treme jack. treme.

Within the confines of the situation, it's useful
4/5

This was purchased to help me dig up things from the ground. br>I made a tripod out of two wood pieces. br>Then, because the base kept sinking, I added a wood base to it to keep it from sinking further. br>Because the chain was slipping, a bolt was added. br>After all of that, it assisted me in removing approximately 20 concrete posts. br>br>I tried it on stumps, but it didn't work. The lever would not budge. br>After adding an extension, it broke after only two cranks. No extensions are allowed, according to the warranty. br>br>So, within the parameters, this thing works fine.

Great tool that I use as a backup to my last resort
5/5

br>This is extremely dangerous. br>Never put anything between the operating handle and the lifting leg that you don't want to be permanently damaged during operation.
Lift. Lower. Winch. Clamp. Spread. br>All you need is a board or a base plate for sand/mud, and you're good to go. br>Extremely well-coated It should last a long time if you lubricate it before using it. Make use of it before you need it. It's a simple tool with a lot of traps for the uninitiated. br>br>BTW, NO COATING FRM, ANYWHERE, WILL BE ABLE TO PREVENT FRICTION FROM DESTROYING THE COATING. Jack isn't impervious to rust. The attachment is the only part that has been anodized. Maintenance is required for all metals. It's not a trophy, but it's a useful tool.

That's right, it's effective
4/5

You'll either need aftermarket bumpers or a wheel attachment, in my opinion. It's something I've used a lot, including this morning. I use a block of wood, raise the jack, and jam logs/rocks into the hole created by your wheels. Spray it with WD40 and use some oomph to handle it all the way up and all the way down.

The price is well worth it for a long-lasting, well-designed tool
5/5

Jacking up a vehicle is inherently dangerous, and this jack reduces the risk as much as possible. To raise and lower a heavy vehicle, it is simple to use, and there are parts replacement kits available if any of the moving parts wear out. I like that I can use it as a "come along" for stretching fencing or with an adapter to remove T-posts quickly. posts that have been buried for a long time. br>br>I store mine in a canvas bag with a Hi-Tec "jack protector" sleeve. For $30, you can get a lift. Many guys love having the jack out in the open on their vehicle 100% of the time to show it off but this puts dirt and grime into the mechanism and is not.
