We did not expect much from the price level, but we did expect that we would receive a new undamaged item from the In the images you can see that the "stick on" measuring system was damaged right out of the In my opinion, I don't think the stick on measuring ruler will last much longer than 2 years As soon as I arrived, mine bubbled up. There is no way to tell if this item is old or used, but it must be old. It needs to be washed out and the rubber plunger needs a little fresh lube as well. There is still a little leak. If you need a cheap device that will last a few uses, a cheaper model may be more appropriate.
While it got the job done, it looks like I'll make quite a mess as a result. Apparently, gear oil was the worst - this makes no sense to me at all. There's just no other way but to pull super slowly because the plunger inside leaks terribly and any vacuum will just make a bad situation worse and then you have all this bypassed fluid inside the top chamber that comes up through the vent Although the top cap also separated easily by hand, I think it was more important to keep the bottom cap in place. It might not be a good idea to measure according to the sticker on the side, but for most uses, it wouldn't matter.
My entire life has been made better by using these sucction guns. As a lifetime dealership mechanic, I have to say, these have excellent quality, the best suction I have ever experienced, and the fact that you may see the liquid through them is a nice feature. To this day, they still look like brand new, which is just a testament to their durability. I wrote the review several months after purchasing them, so I could comment on their durability.
It is a good inexpensive pump for sucking up oil from a transmission, or water out of a windshield squirter, etc. However, it may need to be drained of brake fluid. I used a 3' hose to run the pump. In the event that this one is damaged again, I will purchase it again.
This device makes quick work of draining the bowl and tank and, with its transparent body, you can tell when you have emptied the gun, so you won't leave a mess behind.
She is great at her As far as I know, I have not experienced any leaks as others have. Here's hoping it stays like that!.
The fact that they are clear is appealing to me. **I had one of those from Snap-** I'm working on a tool. I did not like how it worked. There is no need to remove This is a good suggestion.
