It appears that this part is suitable for the 2019 WRX, based on the Fumoto website. Just an FYI, I have this on my 2018 WRX, and I love it!
Unlike other types, this one does not have a hose nip, just an open hole for draining oil. For use with an F108S (short nipple - 3/8" ID) Snap on adapters SH10 or SL10 paired with 3/8" ID tubes). My sincere thanks for your time The IT department
This is the version I installed on my 2013 FR-S I have no problem with that!

The vehicle is I replaced the windshield on my 15' Subaru Legacy in a matter of minutes. It's so easy that there is no need to follow directions. I waited until I was due for an oil change and began doing what I normally do. Having removed the bolt from the oil pan, drained the oil, and so on, I was ready. My next step was to install the drain valve once all the oil had been drained. All went well after it was screwed in. As a precaution, I covered the valve with a rag and used pliers to tighten it if it needed to be tightened. A quick and easy way to get the job done! In a matter of seconds, the oil was leaking out. I poured a little oil into the vehicle and opened the valve and oil gushed out from the engine. A clean and easy procedure was followed for opening your valve midstream and closing it. The clean and easy way is just too much. In order to turn the valve, you must push the lever up and then rotate it. When the lever catches, the valve will be harder to turn into an open position while driving, since something will be catching it. I shook the handle a bit to see how this would hold up and it didn't break. The design is excellent and the forethought is superb. I can't wait to have my next oil change ever so I can get it done a little faster, a little easier and a lot *as usual, I will update this review as necessary, probably within the next four weeks It will take about 6 months to complete unless something goes wrong. I have updated Finally, I had time to do the first oil change using the drain valve three months after the original installation. There was a clip holding the release lever in place, and I removed it. During this step, you should position the catch pan, then open My hand did get a bit of oil on it, but far less than I usually do when I change my oil before the drain. After the oil started draining, there was no choice but to wait. It took a couple of extra minutes because the drain valve flowed a bit slower than I expected, but the job was significantly cleaner, so I was okay with the extra time. It took me a few minutes to notice that there was still a little disappointed by this, but when I loosened the drain valve and removed it, I noticed there was no oil left at all. In a situation like that, I would have been completely satisfied to leave that small amount of oil in the engine. The lever clip was about three tries behind the lock position when I got it back into the lock position. After trying several times to get it back into place, I finally gave up. I got it, but it was a little annoying. It took me no more than a few minutes to add oil, install the new filter, and then go on It took roughly twice as long as it usually does to drain the oil, but since the end result is substantially cleaner than it originally was in removing the bolt and avoiding the heavy stream of oil, it was acceptable. Investing this money was a wise move. The following is the update for update 4 (final) Since last year, I don't have any complaints to make. Oil changes are still simple and are not impacted by leaks or other problems. Despite the shorter drain time, the only complaint I have is that it takes longer to drain out all the oil. I don't have to worry about getting oil on my arms anymore when I remove the bolt from the oil pan due to this device. As well as changing the oil with the engine a bit warm, it's not too bad to do it at that time.
The dealership continues to provide free oil changes since I am still a dealer customer This is something they have been asked to do Earlier in the week, they had warned me that they were not usually recommended as they usually mate to the whole drain because the metal they use is softer and the oil will run hot, causing the drain valve to warp. The drain valve must never be removed, according to the experts. It would have made me think twice about purchasing it if I knew that. Still, they say changing oil is made easier with this device.
It is difficult for me to rate accurately at this time. This is for a 2011 Subaru Outback that I just bought. My initial reaction is that it doesn't feel right to me in the way it shakes out. In the bottom of the pan there is a drain bolt when it was tightened to specs, the lever is on the front side and not well protected from being damaged An example might be if a semi blows a tire and you run over a portion of it, etc. On my Hondas, these have levers on top which are accessible. It's also a good thing that Honda puts the drain bolt on the back of the pan (at least that's the case on I am hesitant to leave this on, so we'll see how things turn out.
It's been a few weeks since I changed the oil in my car. When I tried to remove the bolt on our Subaru Legacy (2015 model), I had a hard time getting it The oil change shop installed this bolt instead of the other bolt, saying it installed properly and will be good to go! I purchased it online and had the oil changed, and they installed it. to any car forum and you will find everyone recommending At the moment, I recommend it to as many people as I can, and I'll make it official once I do my first change.
By switching to this valve, my oil changes are much easier, since I don't have to jack up the jack or use tools In order to reach the drain plug (which never wants to come loose on the first attempt), I have to climb up the front of my car or slide on my back. It is now only necessary to open the valve and allow the oil to drain into the drain pan. I just have to reach under the car and turn on the valve. As easy as it is to access the oil filter on a car, there's no reason to pay $60 or more for the oil filter The cost of changing the oil at a mechanic's shop is 70 dollars. My oil changes cost about $20 per oil change because I do them at home. Having said that, the sole problem I had with the valve was that the gasket it was equipped with was not the right size, so I had to purchase a new As a supplement to that, I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone who wants to do their own oil changes to help save money.
A leak is not present. Install it in no time. So I'll be able to change my oil more easily than before. There is no need to be concerned about dropping oil pan plugs into oil pans. I don't see how the latch could get open on its own due to the clip, but I can imagine that it could with little to no effort. After locking into place, it remains in.
may not be a real reason to not use one of these for your car. Getting this kit will make it easier for anyone (or anyone who likes saving some money and/or enjoys working on their car) to change oil without going broke. It does not require crush washers after it is installed once it is installed, it is ready to go. An oil change becomes much easier and cleaner when this is done.
On the floor of my garage, I found oil stains. After three times of tightening the unit, I had a mechanic replace the item with an original oil plug I had There were concerns that the Fumoto screw threads were too small to fit the oil pan threads. It appears that Fumoto discarded the plug and I was not able to contact Amazon to have the money returned to me. I have spent 30 days since I made.
