I bought two red ones to carry gasoline long ago. The screws are fastened to the side of the cans A sieve has always leaked through the top. It appears that you are correct - the welds around the top threads are POOR in quality. They just don't seem to give a damn!
At 2-minutes we will be opening the doors For farm use, we have both the fuel tanks in 1/2 inch and the fuel tanks in 3/4 inch.
If a pair of shoes is listed with an item, it is not included.
It's a red one for me - sorry On red ones, on the other hand, you can't easily see the fuel level. Is it possible that white could be

Although they are great cans, they have a few drawbacks. It seems like everywhere I've seen them, they come with the hose inside. In my ignorance, I didn't realize they wouldn't come with their hoses, for what are they good for without one. A statement should be included in the listing regarding the hose not being In order that you do not end up in the same situation I am in, where they arrive the day before your trip and the hoses are not there. Sorry to hear that.
This is junk! This is junk! This is junk! This is not something you should buy. There is a possibility they are counterfeits. In either case, they leak very badly from the seam along the bottom. An absolute joke when it comes to Update Having owned these cans for a little over a year and only using them a little over three times, I would agree with all the reviews. A seam appears to be leaking near the bottom of the can. It appears that these cans have been well-cared for. It's stored inside, but it's not used much. In addition, they should not be placed on a truck or trailer in a rough manner. I am not happy at all. The appliance broke after just one year of use, and it has been used three times since then. There is a problem that needs to be fixed by the retailer. Right now I am not happy. The final update has been released. My original cans were cut and destroyed and unusable, so when I negotiated with VIP and took photos showing that I didn't want to send back the damaged cans, they sent me new ones without charging me 70 dollars. They have replaced them with new ones that have been working perfectly. VP had a bad bunch of cans due to the date code they wanted on it.
A couple of weeks ago, I received these 2 fuel cans. Yesterday, I filled the cans for the trip, however one was empty when I came out to the garage this morning. Seems like a defect at the bottom of the seam. My faith in the other can in my camper has been shaken now that I fear it may fail as well. Having contacted the seller about a replacement or refund, I have now emailed them. As soon as I have more information, I will update.
The question you may ask is, "Are they real?". There are a number of jugs made with thick, proportionate materials that fit your orifice of choice. However, the pick of the hose is critically important I prefer long and light ones.
It has been my go-to app for the past decade. My 11th and 12th of these are just in. They are used by me in Flagstaff when I'm riding quads at the sand dunes and cinder pits. Having extra fuel on hand also helps to eliminate the possibility of lines at the pump in case of an unexpected need to mobilize. The jugs with the oldest fuel I use in my mower and vehicles every other month, then refill to rotate stocks. Those are good jugs, and the lids work fine. I just use the lids with poor spigots that come with the jugs and switch them out when I want to pour. I have a few jugs that are ten years or older. It has never been a problem for me.
When the can is turned upside down to pour into the tank, the vent caps leak fuel. I have never seen such a bad design before. The outlet cap threading on all SIX of the cans I purchased is stripped and can no longer be tightened or sealed. I asked the manufacturer for assistance in writing, but I never received a response.
Others seem to be experiencing the same thing as we are. Don't let disappointment get the better of you. A different product should be purchased.
A lot of these reviews make no sense to me. There are quite a few benefits to these jugs and they are quite My son and I took several other jugs, including Sunoco jugs and LC2 jugs, on our trip to the Northwest Territories in Canada. The Sunoco jugs did not survive our trip. It was these jugs that did it. The leak is a major concern for many people. In the four jugs I have, there has never been a leak. Please note that I own four bottles in total. Unlike old-style NPT cap plugs, the new-style BSP caps use a BSP thread. You will need to use some Teflon tape on the plugs if you don't replace them with hoses and leave the plugs in the caps. This will cure any problems you may encounter and most leaks occur where the plugs are. I have not experienced any problems with the plastic splitting. It is a very thick plastic. During our trip to the north west territories, we will travel over 200 miles on dirt roads. I managed to transport these jugs on an open trailer during that trip.
