This is a low-cost tool kit that includes a variety of specialty tools for a variety of tasks when working on automobiles. It's possible that the retaining clip puller alone will set you back $15 to $20. The puller and a variety of pry tools and pullers are included in this kit, which costs $20. When I was younger, I wished I had something like this when I was wasting my trim changing radios. I'll be removing the factory radio from my F-150 with this kit. This kit appears to have more than enough components to complete the task.
That is not the case with this collection! I started working on a project to install rear view backup cameras in our AM General truck and quickly realized I'd need some extra tools and christmas tree push connectors. When I priced them at the auto parts store, they were more expensive than buying this kit. I'm very happy and grateful that I made the decision to buy this kit. It includes all of the pin release and connector removal keys, as well as the standard plastic pry bars with notches. The carry case is known as the Trim Removal Trapper Keeper, after my favorite back-to-school supply binder from the 1980s.
Rather than relying on standard household tools, I decided to seek out the appropriate equipment. My mustang will no longer be mutilated, and all of her clips will be replaced. Now I can work on my driver door, which is made of absolute steel. The last time I was at Ford, they wanted a fortune for a handful of replacement clips and didn't provide any of the tools needed to remove and replace any trim. I highly recommend this kit because the quality is exceptional and the overall size is much larger than expected.
My truck's heating system had failed. All that was required was the adjustment of a wire, as it turned out. My brother had a suspicion that this was the case, and he was willing to help, but he needed this tool to do so. It was the least I could do to get my heat fixed, so I provided this tool. I was astounded at how quickly and easily he popped the dashboard out of place, adjusted it, and now I have heat! I sent the set home with him, not knowing if I'd ever use it, and he seemed pleased. He is the father of three children and the owner of a fleet of automobiles that he enjoys working on. I'm confident he'll bring it back to me if I ever need it! It comes in a nice enclosed case that keeps everything in one place and makes it easy to find. I was completely unaware of this.
We were blown away by the high quality of everything in this kit when we received it. It was exactly what my son and I needed to replace his factory stereo with a more modern model. This kit's components are all tough and long-lasting. It is well-made. I was worried that they would break, but I was mistaken. This kit includes a plethora of useful tools. We didn't get to use them all, but they'll come in handy when I'm working on my truck. This kit comes highly recommended for removing car trim. They are successful. They aren't scratchy in the least. You can't go wrong with it because it comes in so many different sizes and types. For the amount and quality of the kit, the price is a bargain. br>It's something I'd strongly suggest.
But this one job seems to necessitate it, so I went looking for one, and they're all like 7-figure jobs. I was like, "Well, you know what, let me just get a whole case with the complete set!" for $9! Isn't it a much better deal at $30? Well, when I got it, I was impressed by the quality and the value it provided me, all the tools are nicely packed in the case so you can easily store it or bring it with you to work on your car and whatnot, but when I went to do my one job that really needed it, I really tried to use as many tools as I could for it so I could make my money worth it, turns out there was only one tool that worked(the best) and it was basically the most common one hahhaa because all I Yeah, I didn't get to use anything else, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha However, I look forward to the day when I will be able to use the majority of these tools! They appear to be attractive and enjoyable to use.
This kit contains SO MANY TOOLS! It's great for pulling just about any automotive interior piece, but it's clearly made for stereo installers. There are tools included in the kit to help you re-create the look you want. Most factory wiring harness connectors have a pin, and R R has spare body push pin clips, as well as body panels of various styles and stereo removal keys. br>br>The components appear to be very durable and do not scratch the majority of the body panels. They're made of tough nylon and are thin enough to get into most panel seams while still being strong enough to pop them out. If you work in the interior of cars or install stereos and other accessories for a living, this is a great purchase.
I wasn't expecting the kit to be as big as it is, measuring over 14x10 inches when zipped closed. And it's crammed in there. To be honest, I'm not sure I'll ever use the majority of the large bag of clips that comes with it, but the tools are well worth the money; I've found uses for some of them that I hadn't expected. In search of a rattle, I dismantled a few things in my car quickly. I've also used the pry bars for a variety of tasks, and the plastic is of excellent quality. They aren't at all flimsy, and the plastic is soft enough to avoid scratching or marring finishes. Multiple projects have only minor noticable impressions left on them after a lot of prying, but the edges are still clear. br>The pick set is a good size, with good grip and balance in the hand, as well as being fairly sharp. br>Overall, the set has proven to be extremely useful for both auto and home projects, and the case, which includes a small hand strap, is extremely convenient. It is unquestionably deserving of a five-star rating.
