The location has a huge impact on the cost. If you use this tool kit, you'll be able to do the job, but you'll need to start at the edge and work inward. While this indicates that many DIY tool kits like this may not perform all repairs, it is important to note. The metal may need to be folded, especially if it is bent. If that is the kind of damage you have, a professional would only be able to handle it because they will need to patch and cut the damage.

It was very easy to work with 42 pieces of DRP tools that I ordered. Both pro and con reviews were read by me, and I came to the conclusion that the negative reviews were probably incorrect. I found everything to be as described. After watching YouTube tutorials for several hours, I started learning the various techniques to remove dent and even though it is complicated, it works when followed. The task of writing this requires patience and time, it can't be done in 10 minutes. After removing a dent from our Equinox door, that took us about 12 hours to repair however, considering it was a $2,200 dent, I believe the time spent was well worth it. The insurance rate has not gone up. The yellow glue sticks are a little difficult to remove when finishing out the repair for the smaller areas. I wish there had been some black glue sticks in the kit I bought. To get students to understand blue glue is used for harder pulls and yellow for easier release on smaller areas, you might want to explain yellow is used for yellow glued You should experience good results if you follow tutorials and take your time. Although I didn't take before and after pictures, I regret not doing so. We are very satisfied with the service.
The results are That's my best method for pulling small dents, although it isn't perfect. The problem is The body of our car had five fairly noticeable Those are the driver's door (1), the trunk lid (1), and the rear wheel well (3) of the driver. Here's how to use this tool I was extremely pleased with the packing and how well the product arrived. Kit includes a pretty complete selection of what you need and is very professional. *SIGNIFICANT *SIGNIFICANT PROCESS Alcohol should be used to clean the dented area. Use hot glue to attach one or more of the provided tabs to the door. Wait a few minutes for the glue to cool before using the gold anodized puller tool to exert a smooth steady outward grasp on the tab and pull out Here are the first two hints Once the hot glue fails, a glob of glue is left on the car, but the dent should be smaller (hopefully). Depending on the size of the dent, you might need to repeat this process 2-3 times. The hint is )*1 * Hint 3 it's hard to remove the glop of hard glue gun glop from the car once the project is complete. It is not difficult to remove glue between pulls by using the scraper. In between pulls, just take care of most of it with it. The following hint is written in Latin In my experience, if I coat the blob with liquid car wax, scraped-off bits will stay on if it is coated with wax. In a similar way to using peanut butter to remove chewing gum, wax prevents the chunks from re-attaching. You should wipe the counter with alcohol again afterward to ensure the next tab will adhere. The tip 5 can be summed up as follows In some cases, the dents may extend beyond the edge of the dent. Depending on how well the hot glue adheres to the sheet metal, there may actually be a small lump rising from it. In any case, it is not a serious issue. It comes with a little hammer and a soft tool that can be used to gently pound away any proud areas. With the tool I placed them close together and then used a heavy cloth to rub them away I wrapped my thumb around the repair and pressed down heavily on the steel with firm pressure. The metal was smoothed out almost perfectly by this process. This system did a great job for the most part, so overall it was a good investment. By bringing all dent lines outward, it improved the appearance of each. DISCLAIMER 1) Some of the dents that were made by a pointy object did not come out 100%, but they still seem much shallower. 2) The directions are in a few flavors of Chinese, but they are well organized and provide great photographs.
My third purchase of PDR tools from Amazon is this set. One of the hammers on the first set wasn't working. As for the second set, it was a total joke and had been abused, with its parts missing, it being dirty, and its pullers showing traces of glue. As well as the glue gun, there was none. One thing that annoyed me about this last set is that the glue sticks were very short. As you can see in the pictures, they are much shorter than what was shown.
If you want to use the puller, you should read the instructions carefully. One of the reasons I did not give it a 5 star rating is that it's hard to remove the glue from In some kits, alcohol is provided to get the glue off, but not in this kit. It was still very hard for me to get off when I had my own. To get the job done, I ended up relying on Google I'm doing some last minute work on my car to remove the remaining glue. However, I feel as though the dent has been removed 90% of the time. The dent on my door was a ding with some sharp edges which I feel won't ever come out as long as I want to keep the paint on my vehicle. Although, you can clearly see that it is a big improvement! A friend would definitely recommend this to him!.
This kit has been in my house for some time now, and I'm glad to have it. Following a few tutorials on how to use this, I decided to give it a shot It's important for you to do so as well. This can be accomplished so much better by watching a video instead of the instructions. My wife and I were able to remove a few minor dents in our car with ease. The results are far from perfect in any way- The dent was still visible at first, but after some work, it was 70% less noticeable. Remember, it is not a magic trick. You need to plan well the placement of the pullers as well as use a bit of elbow grease to clean up the residual glue afterward with isopropyl alcohol. It is also worth noting that most of the pullers cannot really be re-used Kit comes with many. They are used, but do come in different sizes, so you can use them depending on the size of the dent. You can learn to do it with a little practice, a little patience, and a little thought In most cases, you can get pretty good results using For dings and dents that occur every now and then, avoids a trip to the body shop.
The reviews on this product looked legit, so I decided to try it. There are a few small dents in my truck I need to get out. There are still some small dents on my truck that I need to take care of. There was nothing I could do with this product other than to consume some of my time. The dent is still there. After reading all the instructions, watching all the videos, and doing everything correctly, I completed the course. Since the product did not come with any spray alcohol, I had to use the spray alcohol I already had. It would have been nice if the product came with everything needed, but it did not. Alcohol helped remove some of the glue, but it was still an annoyance to remove. As a result, it took paint off with it when it was It would be advisable for you to take your dents to a body shop so they can be You will have to pay more, but time and paint will be saved in the end.
You can use with This product works to remove most small dings and dents from doors. In terms of the ones it doesn't provide, it does get them to be virtually insignificant most of the time.
