Good looking, durable, and easy to use, this piece of equipment is suitable for most applications. I gave it a bad rating because after drawing a vacuum, I let it set for several hours before checking the vacuum's status, and after that I found it had lost power. As everything was rebuilt in this system, I was baffled so I tried again and the same thing happened (lost vacuum). The next time I drew a vacuum, I removed the hook ups on the low and high sides and waited a couple hours. Upon reassembly of the hoses, it was found that none of the vacuum had been lost.

Does what she is supposed to do. I found it to be effective. I could not make sense of a couple things, however. A quick connection fitting for the schrader valves usually comes with manifold sets, after which you turn a knob to push the internal pin down. There is no such thing. In addition to coupling them to the valve, they press on the pin at the same time. When you turn on the compressor and try to press on the high pressure side, this can complicate things. I'm going to guess you're going to have a lot of pressure to deal with Keep in mind that these fittings should be connected with the compressor off before the car is started. If you install the quick connect fittings supplied, you do not need false hangers for storing the lines on the manifold. It is a bit disappointing that the fittings on the manifold don't have quick connects. It's not a huge deal, but I would prefer not having the wires dangling near the quick connect fittings so they can collect dirt.

Instantly, the pin is pushed out and freon is emitted. The cables and engine of my car are filthy, as well as my body. You should turn your engine off before you use this big fat pointer. When I tried it for the first time, more freon left than entered my system. This is horrible! My rating is two stars because the device sat smoothly after it was forced into the valve, so it did its job. A new update! A much better one was sent to me after the company replaced the item! Be sure to check your Amazon messages for a response after they've responded, it takes them a few days to respond.

I like these a lot. Once you attach the valves to it, you can begin reading the pressure almost instantly. The quality appears to be good and the design is simple. NAPA offered me gauges, but I could not use them. NAPA auto parts are to be avoided. After putting the top on, I was all set. Additionally, you are provided with a chart that is based on the ambient temperature so you can determine the right pressure for yourself. As well as the price, it is phenomenal. Yellowstone is a rural area where Amazon is a life saver since NAPA and all other locations are an absolute waste of time.
