I'm not sure what the monitor's pixel resolution is, but we just got back from a trip where we used the camera on the back of our 30 ft camper (plus the length of our pickup, for a total of about 40') to keep an eye on our kayak trailer that was being towed behind our camper. The monitor had a high resolution and provided a crisp, clear image. There were no static lines, and the signal was never lost. This unit met all of our expectations. You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase.
You can do it, my friend. You can do it, my friend. The most recent version of the wireless backup camera allows for the addition of three additional cameras. Without any brackets, the dimensions are 7 1/4" wide, 5" tall (plus 3 3/4" for antennas), and 1 1/2" thick. I personally would not recommend using this in an open-air cab because it will not withstand the elements. I'm guessing you won't have a lot of options without knowing which machine you have. It will be struck by your safety bar.

For driving (to see traffic) and backing up, this is a high-quality rear view system. br>br>I connected the Douxury camera to the Furrion cover plate using the camper's Furrion prewire site. The Douxury bracket is a little short, so the antenna can only be used in one position in the photos, but it still works fine. Because of the dual antennae on the display, I get excellent signal reception from the back of my 34' 5th wheel in my cab. When there was nearby interference, there were only a few "loss of signal" events that lasted only a few seconds over many miles. Some semi trucks, I believe, use 900MHz for something that could cause a brief dropout. br>br>I didn't use the Furrion pre-amp for 12V power because it was not continuously powered. Instead of pulling the wires down from the above-mentioned running light, I pulled them down from the above-mentioned running light so that the camera would only use power (140mA) when the running lights were turned on. br>br>The display is easily removable and mounted on my rear view mirror, providing a fantastic rear view that feels like a normal rear view mirror. I now find that I have to use it every time I drive the camper. br>br>The night image is good for backing up but not so good for driving because of headlight image blooming, but I don't drive at night very often. br>br>Please let us know if you enjoyed this review.
I was initially skeptical of the product due to some of the reviews, but I decided to give it a shot. The product did not disappoint me in the least. It included a variety of mounts as well as all of the necessary installation hardware. The camera and picture quality are both excellent, and I was surprised at how fast the refresh rate was for the price of the unit. While I haven't had a chance to test the night vision feature yet, I'm confident that it will perform admirably. br> Installation for my application was surprisingly simple and painless. Customer service has been excellent (not that I required assistance). They contacted me after the sale to express their gratitude and to inform me that if I needed anything or had any questions, they would be happy to assist me. br> Overall, I'm very pleased with this setup and have no reservations in recommending it.
As a result, it only faces downward, so I emailed customer service for help. Within an hour, they responded, saying they would send me a longer bracket and antenna extension cord for free to make installation easier. I can also say that the monitor captured a stunning and crystal-clear image. My RV is 36 feet long. I was so taken aback by the quality that I decided to install a second camera above the one I had previously installed. One is for lane changing while driving, and the other is for backing up to a trailer hitch. Up to four cameras can be displayed simultaneously on the monitor. So far, I'm pleased with both the product and the customer service that it provides.
The response has been fantastic. 31 ft RV. There are no interruptions in signal. The backing-up guide lanes, on the other hand, are inaccurate and unadjustable. Furthermore, the mounting tape came off in one night (all surfaces were cleaned with alcohol prior to installation), leaving only screwing or using the suction cup as options - Unless you go out and buy some good tape on your own. The suction cup actually works, which is a nice feature of these. I think it's one of the most well-designed suction cups I've ever seen. br>br>Installation is straightforward, save for the fact that our old backup camera was hidden behind a cover, and this one would not fit due to the antenna and camera housing. br>br>The picture is clean and crisp, so I only deducted one star. As a result, it functions. It was just a challenge to get it installed without having to redo the camera housing, find a different way to mount the screen, and so on.
I mounted it on my side by side UTV and wired it to turn on when I'm driving so I can see if anyone is approaching from behind while trail riding. I'm using it as a rearview mirror, but it'll also come in handy when I'm plowing snow in reverse. br>After the installation, I turned it on and it worked, even without the antennas. I ended up putting them on anyway, but the unit is working well so far. Only time will tell how well it stands up to the test of time. So, for the time being, I'm satisfied with the product, and I'm considering purchasing one for my quad/atv. When trail riding, it's helpful to know when faster machines are approaching from behind; however, mirrors must be mounted outside and are easily knocked off. On sxs, there is a monitor inside the cab.
On my travel trailer, I installed this item. Because I could only use one of the five marker lights, I placed it near the top. The middle light is what I went with. Because my spare tire is mounted in the middle of the trailer on the bumper, I couldn't go any lower. This was not an option because my license plate is on the right side. In order for the camera to receive power, you must turn on your lights. It took about 2 hours to complete the installation. Because I didn't know what I needed or what tools I needed, I spent the majority of my time climbing and descending the ladder. On U-tube, there was a video that was extremely helpful. I got these ideas from a tube. The strength is listed as 180' in the specifications. The distance between the back of the trailer and the dashboard of my car is 35'. On the monitor, I see a picture. For monitor power, I use a cigarette lighter. Suction mounts have never worked well for me. The monitor was too high to fit on the dashboard with the base mount, so I used the U-bracket. bracket in the shape of a I haven't driven or parked my trailer since it was installed, so I can't speak to highway driving or campground parking. This is a fairly basic model without many bells and whistles, but it should suffice for my needs.
