I rarely write reviews, but this backup camera is exceptionally well constructed. I've had a few backup cameras, including original equipment manufacturers and Amazon cameras. Although the camera I purchased on Amazon received excellent reviews, I was unable to see the back of the camera at night. I was looking for a higher-quality backup camera and came across this NATIKA backup camera. I was blown away by the view, particularly at night. Although it lacks LEDs, it provides a very clear nighttime view. I've included both the day and night versions for you to compare. I'm confident it's of the highest quality for its size, and it's plenty bright enough to see the back at night. RECOMMENDATION!.
Wow, that's a pretty good backup camera! I installed it on the tailgate handle of a 2010 Ford F150 pickup truck, and it's exactly what I needed. Everything works as it should after adjusting it; it's a little off centered, but that's to be expected; I'm also pleased with the view at night; it's bright and clear, with no graininess. I gave it five stars because it does exactly what it says it will do and it works for my needs. br>br>I used to have a NOAUKA 420TVL rear view camera (B06XNM7GNS) that I didn't like. The low-light performance was terrible, so grainy, the view angle was too narrow, there was no adjustment, no rubber gasket, and so on, but the price was fantastic. I decided to upgrade my backup camera and had it installed today by NATIKA. Great adjustment options, a bunch of rubber gaskets to put the camera where you want it, 600 TVL, and much better low light performance than the stock Honda camera. Overall, this is an excellent reverse camera. Don't fall for the $12-a-day deals. The difference between $19 rear view cameras and $600 TVL rear view cameras is huge. I'll be ordering another one for my 2008 Tundra pickup truck as soon as possible.
The wiring was only just long enough, but it got the job done. With the accompanying paperwork, I tapped into the reverse lamp as instructed. Because I'm an electrician, I can assure you that all connections were made correctly. Two backup lamps have been blown due to the current draw from the camera turning on. The camera blacked out the other day. Voltage is getting to the camera; however, there is no picture. I confirmed that the video input on my Alpine headunit works properly with a different device, but I'm not happy about having to disassemble the back gate again. I'm not a fan.
I recently installed mine and am extremely pleased with the results. I would strongly recommend this camera to anyone. In the dark, the image quality is excellent.
Picture and build quality are two things that I look for in video cameras. The product will be of little value unless both are present. br>br>At first glance, the image quality of this camera didn't appear to be the best, but that could be due to the 4Runner's low-resolution built-in display; my original back-up camera A similar view camera view can be found on the internet. br>br>In terms of durability, I think it should last a long time, especially for its intended use in the back. look at the mount High-intensity light can damage a front-facing camera. As a result of the speed road dust, the lens, like your paint, may pit over time. br>br>I put this camera in front of my 4Runner to eliminate blind spots when driving up hills. The angle wedges allowed me to get the view I wanted, and the installation was simple. With plenty of room to spare, the attached cables could reach from the center of the front grill, around the engine bay, through the firewall, and behind the dash. This could easily be mounted in the back while still leaving enough cable. br>br>According to my measurements, the unit consumes 35mA when power is applied but it is not in use (idle). This is such a minor drain on the battery (drawing just three times would take about four days). 5A), so I initially connected it directly to the battery (I needed to get to Moab quickly); However, because I don't drive very often, I rewired the power to a tap on the front power port (formerly known as the cigarette lighter socket), which now turns on and off with the key. br>br>I'd like to mention that when I had issues with the camera, the seller was extremely helpful. If the first camera didn't work, I was offered a free replacement with no shipping charge, or a different camera if the first didn't work. This product is at the top of the heap because of its excellent customer service. Bottom line, I wish the video definition was better for my purposes, but I'll have to use a separate monitor with a higher resolution for that. If you want to add a rear view blind spot eliminator, this should work fine and is something I recommend.
It's been less than 6 months since I put it in. The camera has suddenly stopped working. There is no option for a return or replacement. There is no way to contact support, so don't buy it and get something else instead. br>br>After a negative review, customer service responded. New camera has been sent. All three cords were cut on the "new camera. "
1. If I had wanted to be an electronics/electrician from the start, I would have purchased separate, interchangeable parts.
2. The cords have been severed. What evidence do I have that this came from a complete unit? Is there no camera that has been returned? What method did you use to put it through its paces?
3. Even after all of this, the camera was still not working properly. I checked the line and my system, and everything is getting enough power; it's just a bad camera. br>br>I'm sticking to my original assessment. If you want a camera that will last a long time, has better quality, and you don't want to deal with a shady company, look for something else.
The camera's build quality is excellent, and the image resolution in both day and night is excellent. On my Ford F-150, I put it in. 150 in about 20 minutes (camera-to-radio cable already in place). The product has exceeded my expectations.
