So far, everything is working perfectly! In my 2006 F350, I replaced the radio with a new Pioneer unit. Camera is connected. The image was inverted, as I noticed. If only obnoxious me would read the instructions. If you use the camera on the back, clip the small white wire on the camera pigtail and it works great. br>I also had the radio professionally installed because the guy didn't realize the F350 has a black interior. This license plate functions properly; however, after installing the entire cable system throughout the vehicle, I discovered that the plug on the power connector was defective. I was about to send it back, but I didn't want to disassemble everything, so I decided to troubleshoot it instead. I'm familiar enough with electronics to figure out that the problem is caused by the power connector ground not connecting. Cutting that wire and simply splicing the ground and bringing it to the trunk lid with a tap screw worked fine, and it worked flawlessly after that. Because of the bolt-style mounting holes. Without drilling a hole completely through where your license plate holes are and using a not on the other side, you won't be able to mount the plate. br> If you didn't know what to look for, you would be extremely disappointed. I'll begin with the camera's positive aspects - The auxiliary parking lines can be turned on/off, and the camera is very well made and looks great in daylight. It can also be used as a backup and front camera. I'll try to explain those two characteristics in more detail: WARNING - prior to the cutting of the green and white sweaters - Check to see if your head unit has a mirror function for reversing the image and a parking line on/off switch. The installation instructions are a little confusing, so I cut the green and white loops to make it a back view orientation and included guide lines in the photo. At night, I don't think I've used it much. Two set screws hold the plate in place at the correct angle (up/down). I would buy it again if the need arose.

" So, I'm not going to go into too much detail about the installation because everyone's results will differ, but it worked well for me in my 2007 Silverado 1500 Classic. The "most difficult" part was figuring out how to connect the reverse light positive wire; I upgraded because the video cable was longer, and there was probably 10 feet more than I needed. br>br>Considering the price, the picture quality appears to be quite good; please excuse the glare in the photo; it is my fault, not the camera's. I haven't had a chance to test the night vision or water resistance, so I'll update this review accordingly. I'm writing this on the same day I installed it in September. 18, 2021. br>br>Update 09/27/2021br>It's been light raining for a few days now, and the camera's performance hasn't changed. So far, I'm still satisfied.
