Questions & Answers
It has a single camera and is housed in a shark fin. When I purchased my camper, it came equipped with a shark fin housing. It was as simple as removing four small screws and pulling out the connector, then plugging the camera in and screwing it in place. It only took me five minutes to put it together, with the majority of that time spent looking for one of the screws I dropped. When the running lights are turned on in my camper, the camera is activated. I hope this information is useful.
I've never purchased a Fookoo unit before, but I'm excited to learn more about this brand that you offer. The main difference is that Fookoo is a wired system, which will undoubtedly provide a more stable signal.
When these are gone, 381556 will be obsolete. Sound is also included in the new camera.
Hello, and thank you for contacting us with your inquiry! Only one camera's signal can be received by the FOS43TASF system. Both the FOS05TASF (5" monitor) and FOS07TASF (7" monitor) systems support up to four different cameras. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!

Hubby prefers to leave the monitor on rather than use the motion detection mode because it helps him see what's behind him when changing lanes. br>I believe Amazon's price is lower than the manufacturer's, so that might be your best option. First and foremost, a fantastic product!br>br> PERFECT! br>Now, for anyone installing this in a new RV that is already equipped with a camera, such as our brand new Keystone Cougar, there are a few things to keep in mind. First and foremost, your running lights must be turned on. we did. We couldn't get it to pair up, and it was eventually discovered that the camera was not receiving power. The workers did indeed leave the RV wires dangling and never connected it! It only took a few seconds to secure the wire to the running light, as it should have been. I'm curious how many cameras have been returned as a result of the shoddy RV work, believing the camera to be defective. br>Anyway, back to the camera. We quickly paired it up after verifying the camera's power. While reading the instructions, I discovered that the monitors have a motion sensor built in, so if there is no motion behind you while driving, the monitors may turn off or go to sleep. We put this to the test in the driveway, and it worked great. It's a little sensitive, but I like it. br>The monitor is very nice and clear, and while we won't be using it for a few weeks, we're confident it will perform admirably; if there are any issues or additional features, I'll update this review. br>By the way, because this is the most recent version, I bought it. $60, possibly. More expensive, but unquestionably worthwhile; after all, the older model is no longer supported, and parts are no longer available.
I don't like having to buy this, but it does save me from saying some expletives while backing up the trailer. This allows me to park my trailer without having to argue with my wife about hand signals and other such things. It performs admirably, is simple to install, and is extremely useful on the highway. When you've just purchased a new trailer, $400 may seem like a lot of money, but consider it an investment in your happiness. Setting up is easier, which means you'll have a more enjoyable trip or vacation.
My camper had a pre-existing medical condition. The camper's mount is already installed. It was extremely simple to set up. In order for my camper's camera to work, at least the running lights must be turned on. br>br>The camper is 31 feet long, and the truck is a Ford F250 with an 8 foot bed. Even at 75 mph, I never lost communication with the camera. That was a criticism of the previous model. br>br>So far, I've been very pleased with it, and it's great to be able to see what's behind you while driving, which adds a layer of safety when passing.
My 5th wheel came with a "set it up" system. When I connected it, I immediately noticed a difference. The image is clearer, and most importantly, it maintains signal while traveling at highway speeds. I drove nearly 200 miles each way on the first trip out, and it only lost signal once after about 150 miles. Is it flawless? Absolutely not. However, it is preferable to the grainy back-end. While driving down the road, my up camera lost signal frequently and was sluggish. When I'm driving down the road and backing up, it's nice to be able to see what's behind my fifth wheel.
This camera system performed admirably during our trip. Because the camper cane was prepared for it, it was simple to install. Everything worked after we simply plugged it in. On both sides of the camper passing us, you can see incoming traffic in the photo. The added peace of mind was well worth the extra cost. It's also a lot simpler to back up!.
This model was absolutely incredible. We purchased it with the intention of using it solely for backup purposes. We used it to change lanes on our trip and left it on. This was extremely simple to set up.
This was purchased for my new Gulfstream camper, which came with a factory-installed Furrion housing that didn't match the new one I bought. Multiple attempts to contact the no-service Chinese company resulted in a new housing being installed, defeating the purpose of purchasing the Furrion. br> It's always the stalling tactic, and it never works. br>E-mail is used to ask silly questions. I responded to the e-mail, but it was unanswered. br>Even though this camera was four times the price of other cameras, I thought it was worthwhile. br>It appears that this item was repurposed but sold as new, which is illegal. br>Buy American whenever possible because Chinese companies cannot be trusted.
Furrion's backup camera is wired into the system. The camper's original bracket recommended purchasing FOS48TA-. The FRC12TA-BL is a "high-speed observation camera. " "Backup system" (BL) is a term used to describe a system that is used " I couldn't find either and later discovered that this is the newer model. The camera came with a sharkfin bracket, which was similar to the one that was already on my camper. To install the camera, I simply removed the four screws holding it in place, then removed the same plate from the camper's bracket, and finally installed the camera. The entire sharkfin bracket does not have to be removed from the camper as a result of this. There was a headphone jack type plug for connecting to the camera inside the bracket on the camper, as well as a purple wire - I'm not sure what that's for, so I didn't do anything with it. The camera was only functional when the vehicle lights were turned on (which provided power to the camper's running lights). Even when in reverse gear with the lights off, it did not work. The picture taken by the camera is fantastic. Parking is not enforced by grid lines. It has audio, so you can hear someone behind you assisting you with parking. The camera also has a motion detector mode that prevents the display from turning off unless motion is detected. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.
