I don't think the reception from inside the trailer will be adequate. My unit is mounted on the back of a 28-foot horse trailer, and it occasionally cuts out if the road becomes too rough. On the inside, I wanted one as well, but I didn't think the signal would be strong enough.

Not only is this one of the best systems I've ever used, and I've used cameras ranging from $200 for off-brands to $500 for Tadi Brothers and $1200 for ASA, but I'd take this one over them all. down. The picture clarity, as well as the product itself, is second to none. I will no longer be ordering any of those expensive sets because this one does it all. It's also very simple to set up and navigate around all of the buttons, so you'll be up and running in less than ten minutes. Another feature I appreciated was the ability to contact their customer service and/or technical department if necessary. This company is more concerned with customer satisfaction than with making a quick buck! No, I am not being compensated for this review; instead, this is what I am experiencing in the field and what I have gone through, as well as how their system solved all of my problems at a very reasonable price. br>br>Let me begin by saying that I have never written a product review before, but I feel compelled to do so in this case because I have approximately 30 camera sets in the field at all of my rental properties and motor homes. I rarely write reviews, but I felt this camera system was worthy of mention. br>I had intended to order a different system after hearing about it from a friend. After looking over the various models, I became concerned that the reviews didn't live up to my expectations. As a result, I began to look at others' work. br>br>I found positive feedback after researching Emmako wireless systems. The use of this wireless system in my fifth wheel camper was my primary concern. Despite the fact that my unit is smaller than most, I still wanted a system that wouldn't go blank. br>When the wireless system arrived, it was well-packaged and came with a long-range antenna. Install instructions were found to be included, but the print was small and difficult to read for the elderly. It's a simple and painless process to set up. br>br>I wanted to double-check the range's specifications before installing it. I used the camera's battery and connected the monitor to the truck. I was able to significantly increase the camera's range beyond what was required. Signal failure at higher speeds is a major concern with these systems. br>br> At speeds exceeding 60 miles per hour, some will not function properly. This unit doesn't have any problems. br>br>I've been very happy with Emmako's wireless camera system so far. If circumstances change, I will revise my assessment.
The system performs admirably for the price. On my 30' travel trailer, I put it in place. I've used it a few times and have no complaints, but I do have a couple of points to make. The signal may occasionally go out, but it always comes back on. I used Butt Connectors to connect the camera to my travel trailer's running lights at first. Because the wires to the camera are so thin, I couldn't get a Butt Connector to hold them in place, so I soldered the connections. I use the system all the time now that it's connected to the running lights, and it's extremely useful for changing lanes and, of course, backing up. I am very pleased with the system because of the low cost, ease of installation, and performance. Finally, I've never encountered such excellent customer service. I had a few questions, which were promptly answered by email. Also, one of the antennas (the system comes with two) would not stay in the up position when attached, so I installed it on the monitor. The system continued to function (the antenna was taped to keep it upright). I contacted customer service, and two replacement antennas were sent to me right away.
On my 36' RV, I use it as a rear observation camera, despite the fact that it is advertised as a backup camera. Excellent image quality, simple to set up, great wireless range, and also works well as a night vision backup camera. br>If you wire the camera to the running lights or a constant 12v source, you'll have a fantastic "always on" (when connected to the tow vehicle) observation system for a fraction of the price of the big-name brands. brand names All mounting hardware is included, as well as two antennas (one for longer vehicles in case the short one doesn't provide enough signal). Installation is simple; however, do not judge the product solely on the basis of the instructions' grammar. The installation is simple and quick; HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! In strong wifi / electrical field areas, it temporarily loses signal, but only for a minute or two; this is a minor flaw.
I just received the camera kit I ordered, and it appears to be of reasonable quality for the price; the camera is larger than another wireless camera I own, and the monitor has a clear picture; when activated, it can see clearly behind you. My family's vehicles are equipped with several cameras. The larger screen is nice because it allows me to see more details of what's going on behind me. This model appeals to me because it is simple to set up. For front-facing, I intend to connect a second camera to the system. Customer who is happy with the service.
