The RV door locks for travel trailers are constructed from die-cast zinc alloy. The metal is 100% METAL--a high strength material with oxidation and wear resistance features. Designed to withstand brute force and dependable to protect your camper investment, it is durable and reliable.

Adding an extra layer of security to your travel trailer is the built-in deadbolt on the Welluck enclosed trailer door latch. A second advantage is that the lock cylinder is totally tamper-proof, which means every lock set comes with an UNIQUE KEY. Whenever you leave the house, worry free!

Included with the kit is all of the necessary hardware for installation. Among the items included with this camper lock replacement are four double-edged keys, ten screws (three different lengths), and two mounting plates.

Hole cuttings placed in this type are 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" to 3 1/2" x 4", and the thickness of the doors is 1 1/4" These are not just applicable to recreational vehicles, but also cargo trailers, horse trailers, small vans, and more.

From the outside of the building, you can see that the hinges are on the right side of the door. It worked for replacing the lock in my case, but as far as the hinges on the left, I'm not sure. There's only one problem I can see here, which is that the deadbolt and latch are fixed, which is why the deadbolt would appear to stick out further to the right if you decorated that way instead of having the deadbolt project to the left like I did. With stainless exposed hardware and a satisfying satin black powder coated finish, this Welluck RV lock looks like a very well made item. There is a gasket on the back of the outer latch that keeps out the I now have all the keys for both my latch and deadbolt that work together meaning I only need one key to lock and unlock the door to my Haulmark enclosed utility trailer, which is a big advantage over my current lock, which requires two keys. This manual provides instructions for measuring and installing the latch as well as how to operate it. The price was well worth it!.

It is easy to install the lock. I received the metal lock the next day with Prime. The box it was in was also Turning a deadbolt key is much easier than turning a lock that was previously installed. I was concerned that the key would break due to resistance, but this has been fine. It's smooth to lock and unlock the latch. From a technical standpoint, this is an upgrade. Despite years of attempts, the original did not succeed. There is no doubt that this lock fits and feels perfect.

It was easy to install! A new RV has just been delivered to us

While it was a great experience, a few minor details needed to be fixed since the condo is an older one. An example of this would be the lock on the door. Due to us camping there a lot and at new places, this was one of the first things we wanted resolved for safety reasons. I have installed the software without any problems. It was necessary to create a template so that the hardware could be accurately placed. I am very satisfied with how well the keys work and how easy it is to lock and unlock the deadbolt. Neither rust nor corrosion are a concern because the band is waterproof. I believe it will last us for many years to come.

Lock that's strong enough to handle the task

My friend sold me an RV and I wanted to make sure the lock on the vehicle was changed. The materials used in this lock are very strong and well made. With the key set, it makes it easier for me to take the keys with me. Durable and rigid, it offers a great deal of durability. It is time for me to put this lock on the door that leads out of The app is something I'm going to use a lot. A heavy-duty lock such as this is very difficult to pick. The latch on my rv was made of plastic, so before purchasing this one my Rv's door latch was made of plastic. The latch on this one is made of metal and is incredibly heavy. There is a significant difference between how I feel now and when I was younger! Compared to the fancy ones with buttons, this is a much better price. You should get this one, it also has 4 keys.
