There is no difference between the measurements used by companies in the cam lock industry. It is acceptable to accept a company that thinks a 5/8 lock is the correct size for In addition to the length, the width is also important when calculating the cylinder length. There was NO description in this wait, so I may have missed that part of the I guess 5/8ths's might be a standard size. There is no problem with the 3/4 size. Okay, so this is just a terrible product page that is impossible to customize, with zero descriptive information, and a seller who has no clue about this product. It's a waste of money to have a rabble rabble like this. As time passes. . I would like to return this item. In this case, I wouldn't recommend buying this unless you are planning on making a custom hole or need a strange-sized lock. Nevertheless, the part is not a standard size when used in a replacement. As I said, this is really important. This means you will need a hole 5/8 in diameter and a length 5/8 in length. As a result, I think this is a bad seller and a bad.
My RV storage compartments are currently missing two latches, so I ordered two of these to replace them. A smooth action and open and close positions are present in these cam locks. It was just spinning and spinning with the old latches that I replaced. The tightening process was difficult, I had to get 3/4" washers from the hardware store, and they were not readily available. The latch side was sealed with a fiber gasket. I used a rubber gasket on the face and a rubber gasket on the latch side. If I were ordering it again, I would get a 1 You can change the washer wire spacing to 3/16" if you wish, but these will work as well. Excellent latch mechanism. I'm very satisfied with it. I found it to be the hardest part of the installation to remove the old latches, otherwise it's a straightforward process. Finally, in order to remove or install the cam, you'll need a 7/8" or 22mm socket.
Although I put a cutout plate in the hole to prevent the lock from turning, it was still a tad too long, even after putting my 5/8" board in there to prevent it turning. Should I have had another, I would have ordered one that was just under 1 inch long. It was possible for me to bend the flat plate on the end of the lock to seal it tightly. Please accept this as a helping hand.
However, there are times when I do not need them locked, but I had to carry the key with me in order for them to close properly. I bought these, installed them in the center of the doors, and my life has never been easier.
As such, it was a good substitute for the old knob that would no longer However, I found that there is a very small amount of play with the straight cam, but certainly not enough to justify using the off-axis You can now set the camera. It serves its purpose since the compartment is usually locked most of the time. It was a smooth transaction with the seller and with shipment. I had no problems with the.
This is a highly recommended book. There is one adjustment I made, which is that the hole is slightly bigger than the original cam lock hole. Not sure if it was made bigger or if the hole is smaller than it usually is. To make the hole bigger, I used utility knives and sand paper.
Replacing RV locks is a breeze with this product. I would find it convenient if seller sold at a discount in larger quantities, it seems odd that this version is less expensive than the keyed version. There seems to be no problem with quality. In order to replace the lock on the outdoor shower, I did the following. The offset version is available as well as the straight version.
On the V, there were a couple of older versions that didn't work properly. Installation was easy and the switches worked better than the ones they replaced, but they are very inexpensive so are not ideal quality, but didn't cause any problems for me, and they were priced reasonably.
