The system works; however, you should watch several videos before purchasing to ensure that you understand what you're getting yourself into. It took about 20 minutes to straighten out the wiring, which isn't bad considering the price. Mounting was not difficult; my vehicle was difficult due to the orientation of the mechanism, but once the door panel was removed, it took me only 20 minutes to mount the second one. br>br>My biggest problem was the driver's door lock buttons working backwards; when I pressed unlock, the truck locked, and vice versa. I wasted a lot of time (hours) trying to figure out how to reverse the solenoid. I could have simply adjusted, but I didn't want to. I tried switching blue and green, but it just made the mechanism open and close in a random manner. Stop, the same thing happened when I switched brown and white, so I figured out that if I switched brown and white while also switching blue and green, everything would work fine. For the only other door I installed, I had to swap blue and green. Ensure that wires are routed away from the window. br>br> After rolling the window down and disconnecting all the wires, I had to disassemble my door a second time.

Installed in a chevy express van that has been extended. br>br>Watch youtube videos to go over the installation, but it wasn't too difficult if you know how to work on cars. Other considerations: br>br> br>* The master switch is used to lock and unlock all of the other doors. As a result, if you lock the driver's door, all of the other doors will also lock. And if you open it, it will open all the doors. br>* Although the manual locks are a little more difficult to lock/unlock now, I am still able to lock and unlock them. unlock with a keybr>* The side wiring harness was too short. My van's back doors. To finish the job, I needed an extra 22 feet of wire. br>* I'm not sure how to connect the flashers and horn/siren together. The instructions gave no indication of how those leads would function. I suppose I could have figured it out with the help of a multimeter. br>* During the installation, I misplaced one of the actuating rods. A local car audio shop was able to provide me with a replacement for a reasonable price. br>* I used loctite on the actuating rod clamps because I didn't want them to rattle out. br>* I tried to line the actuating rods up as close to the original lock rod as possible. I had to bend slightly to get a good fit on one of them. br>* The locks appear to be in good working order. All of the doors are simple to lock and unlock. The only way to find out is to wait.

The instructions that came with the product were terrible (just a wiring diagram on the back of the box), but I was able to figure out how to do it on my own. to YouTube videos that were extremely helpful. It was actually quite simple to set up in retrospect. Now that I've got power locks, I'm ecstatic. This is a product that I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Locks of the type My Nissan NV200 door locks are not working properly. It's the keys that are the source of the problem. They wear out quickly and are unable to unlock or lock the vehicle. I wanted to try automatic door locks, and this set caught my eye because it had four actuators. After removing the door panels, I discovered that the handle and the lock were connected by cables rather than rods. With this kit, there was no way to connect it. Just be aware of your mechanism and do some research before placing an order. Aside from that, the kit did exactly what it was supposed to do.

I installed these in my Jeep Wrangler from the year 2000. Installing the front gate is fairly simple, but the back gate is a little more difficult. They were never particularly effective. The motors had a hard time turning the locks on. Only on rare occasions did the rear gate open. They'd lock one day out of nowhere. I moved the remotes out of the way, thinking it was the remotes, but it still locked randomly. They were simply untethered. The remote's long life appeals to me. The wires were a little short, not for the sake of operation, but for the sake of durability. I believe the wire was tampered with (shorted) either at the door flexing or somewhere else where it was compressed. Finally, I decided that this was not a good fit for an older vehicle in a tough environment, so I abandoned the project.

Given that all locking systems perform similar functions, what I required was a locking system with dedicated wires to an interior switch! It's in this one! So, using the provided key fobs and a switch inside the vehicle, I can lock and unlock the doors, just like most cars! This feature makes me very happy! And it's exactly what I was looking for!.

This kit contains everything you need and is of high quality. It took a long time to install in my Nissan Hardbody, but it was well worth it. The wires for the driver's door needed to be extended by a foot. The task could be completed with the available wire. To finish the job properly, I needed a soldering iron and heat shrink. It took a long time to figure out where to connect the parking light, but it was well worth the effort, and I'm glad I put in the effort.

To begin with, the screws included in the installation kit are insufficiently long. One of the remote controls is broken. The main issue is that the remote is pointing in the wrong direction! When you press the unlock button, the doors lock, and so on, so I'll have to use the remote in reverse! I'm not sure if this is a problem with anyone else's system. Is it possible that the manufacturer has a solution?.
