If it hadn't been for, I would have given it five stars
3/5

This alarm was purchased to keep my electric scooter safe. This is my fifth "bike" alarm, which includes a cable lock alarm with both keypad and display. a rear light/alarm with remote control, and a $200 Boomerang Anti-Theft System Theft GPS Alarm (we paid $3 per month for the GPS subscription). I'm not an expert, but when it came to finding a reliable alarm, I did a lot of research. As long as it worked, I was willing to pay almost anything within reason. My main issue with the more expensive options was that many car alarms operate on 12 volts, and my scooter's battery cannot be connected to other components. It's 24 volts, and I'm not sure how to figure out all the physics of running specific watts and amps, wire gauges, and so on. It would also be severely depleted. I even attempted to install a camera (similar to cctv) but was unable to do so without 12v, forcing me to purchase an expensive Wifi helmet with recording capabilities (which displays what is behind me in real time on my phone or tablet- live action camera on the back! I leave it on, lock it to the scooter, and use it to keep an eye on it when I'm not around. Unfortunately, the battery was not up to par, so I needed a backup strategy. This alarm was exactly what I needed to solve my issue. However, as long as it has a place to attach or put this alarm, it can also be used to help alert if anything else is tampered with. It would be ideal for use on Christmas lawn decorations, as it appears that people nowadays will steal anything. This alarm could be put to a lot of different uses. It could be placed beneath a garbage lid to deter animals or people from making a mess on trash day. You can put it on the lid of your Snail mailbox to prevent mail theft, but you'll have to remember to disarm it during delivery hours; all you need is to be close enough to hear it. You don't want this thing to go off for an extended period of time because it might irritate your neighbors. It's a powerful alarm for such a low price. It can be thrown into a bag or pocket if necessary, and it will sound an alarm if picked up or moved. It could be useful in a park or at the beach, or anywhere else where you'll be close enough to hear it but far enough away to keep an eye on it. You can use the provided sticky pads to help alter its attachment possibilities, but if you're not using zip ties or a tube for extra support, you'll need to use something stronger. Don't rely on the sticky pads alone to keep this alarm attached to anything that will be moving around. I can see it sticking firmly (for a short time) to a stationary object, but that's all I can think of. The alarm was packaged in two small plain white boxes that were nestled inside a larger plain white box, keeping it safe and secure. Only on the front bottom of the alarm (wsdcam) and in the instruction manual is there a brand name. Every component was contained in either a small bag or one of the two molded plastic inserts. The alarm, manual, and back panel with hardware were all packaged together in one box. The manual is in standard bad English, but it isn't necessary because you can look at everything and figure it out on your own. You'll have leftover hardware, which is to be expected and is dependent on the installation method you select. The mount and its hardware were in a similar-sized box. Everything you'll need is included, though extra rubber tire pieces may come in handy if the first one doesn't fit. The screwdrivers are designed for small hands and will not be used for long. (These are screwdrivers for eyeglasses. ) ) Because the bars on my scooter were too narrow, I filled the gap with an old bike tire. It also aids in the prevention of slipping. Metal construction ensures the mount's durability. It seems like it'll last a long time and won't break out of the blue or deteriorate due to exposure to sunlight. It's not flimsy hard plastic at all. The panel, alarm, and mount all screw into each other and connect in a way that is somewhat hidden from easy access, and the mount has two options for where the alarm can be mounted on the panel. The mount can be fastened to the alarm body in the middle or at the very top. (Because of other soon-to-be-added accessories, I had no choice but to attach the alarm in front of me. ) ) This was a useful addition for maneuvering around other items. The alarm has now been activated. Although the panel is made of hard plastic, it has a good feel to it. There's nothing inside that rattles or feels like it'll snap at the first sign of a drop. It's about an inch thick in the middle and gets thinner as it gets closer to the top/bottom, and 2- 15+/- It only takes 5 minutes to set up and can be placed almost anywhere if you don't mind using the zip ties that come with it. adhesive pads The alarm is loud enough to be heard all the way down to the end of my street (6-story building). At least seven houses). I'm sure it's clearer at night, but this isn't an alarm that should be relied on solely for theft prevention. That said, anyone attempting to tamper with your bike will be caught off guard, and will undoubtedly be startled. When I accidentally bump into it and realize it's there, it gives me a fright! It also draws other people's attention, which is beneficial. You want people to look, so don't believe negative reviews about how loud the alarm is. The remote is also made of plastic, but it functions well and responds quickly. With the push of a button, it paired quickly and without issue. The functionality is adequate, and the buttons are well-placed and simple to operate. They could have been slightly larger to accommodate stubbier fingers, but this isn't a deal breaker. It's not like you'll be yelling at them all the time. Before pairing or using, remember to take out the thin, clear plastic piece. It will protrude from the bottom of the container. The remote is made of hard plastic and has a less expensive (less expensive. ) version. It has a high-end (but not cheap) feel to it, but I've used the same remote for other alarms and neither has broken or caused me any problems in the two years I've had them. Making the hole where the remote connects to your keychain a little bigger all around would have been a good idea. It's not wide enough for any keychain ring to fit comfortably and move freely through it. On a standard O-ring, it will fit. It's a keychain ring, but it's stiff and doesn't have any slack. It was just big enough to fit a fat quarter through; That's how small the measurements are. I'm afraid that if I put it in my backpack and something falls on top of it, pushing it against the keychain ring, it'll snap and break, and I won't be able to attach it to anything else. I'm not implying that the remote will break; rather, the thin piece of plastic that allows it to be attached will break. As a result, use the remote control with caution. If this occurs, look for handcrafted remote control, garage door, and other holder holders on other websites. If you need to reclaim your attaching abilities, I'm sure they're out there and cheap. Overall, this alarm is one that I would strongly recommend. For the price (I paid $21), I think it's a good buy. 99- on sale- You won’t find a better theft deterrent with an additional 5% off coupon). With this alarm, buyers are coming out on top in terms of "you get what you pay for. " You can't expect to get a top-of-the-line alarm for less than $25. This isn't going to work. Dinner, a drink, and a tip at a mediocre restaurant are literally the price of this alarm. Don't put your valuables at risk because you believe $20 is too much for an alarm. This alarm is great for bicycles, motorcycles, scooters, skateboards, lower-ground apartment patio bbq's or grills (if you live in a high-theft area), and so much more. br>br>**The only "con" I have is that the alarm I received was slightly damaged when I received it. The outside casing has a chip in it. The flaw is purely cosmetic and has no bearing on the alarm's workmanship. (See photos 1 and 2. ) 3) However, I did pay for a brand new alarm, and I would like to see better quality control. I can tell it is 100% brand new but it was damaged off the line. I can return it through prime but since I know this specific individual alarm works well, I don’t wan I don't want to make any unnecessary trips to the local mall to return it because of covid, so I guess I'll keep it. Perhaps the seller would be so kind as to offer another at a discounted price? As I previously stated, I strongly recommend this alarm; however, make certain that it not only functions properly but is also free of damage. It could have been a fluke, but there's also the low price point to think about. I'd give this alarm five stars if it weren't for the minor damage. It's versatile, affordable, of good quality, and simple to use. I didn't require customer service or communication, so I can't speak to their effectiveness, competence, or dependability. Customer service, on the other hand, always compensates for poor quality! (As I previously stated, I have the option of returning the item via Prime, so why bother messaging the company to express my dissatisfaction with the damage?) )br>br>*If any important information or issues arise, I'll update; please mark as 'helpful' if you found it to be in any way! The more opportunities I have to review products, the more HONEST and in-depth reviews I will be able to write, ensuring that hardworking people like us are not taken advantage of! br>br>Recent changes: br>br> 1st of February, 2021, or within 24 hours: So, what else can I say except that I'm disappointed? I've only got two stars left! The day after I installed the alarm, I decided to go for a night ride. After three hours of riding, After hitting a small bump, the alarm came off the mount after 4 minutes. My scooter is designed for children and has a top speed of 9 miles per hour. 10mph. I was in the middle of a crosswalk late at night and had to come to a halt and return to retrieve it. The alarm had come loose from the panel connected to the mount, according to an inspection. (Yet!) I have no idea why. ) but the only explanation I can come up with is that the screw (obviously) did not thread properly to hold it in place. Either the screw is too small or there is a problem with the threading. I put it up myself, so I know it's done correctly. In any case, I must now remove it and either repair or return it. This small alarm piqued my interest. the night before yesterday However, the hardware failed in less than 5 minutes. The one saving grace is that the alarm itself is unharmed. Not a single blemish! I can't imagine it falling off again, but it is a solid piece of hard plastic. It still works fine, but I'm not concerned that I won't be able to secure it to my scooter as securely as I had hoped. I would have bought the version that attaches with zip ties if I had known the hardware was lacking, because at least that model has precut slits for the zip ties. If I use zip ties to add support to the alarm (so it doesn't fall off again), I guess they'll have to go around the outside. It'll come across as cheap and cheesy. Because the alarm taper slightly at the ends, it may easily slide around after a few bumps. If you plan to use the zip tie model, I recommend investing in some metal zip ties. They provide a small amount of additional protection. I'm disappointed by the situation, but I'm confident that I can resolve it. If not, I'll simply return it and replace it with another brand that has a great rear light/alarm that I've used in the past, and only use the alarm because a red front light isn't really necessary. As soon as I figure out what's wrong, I'll let you know.

I purchased this product for my new Ebike and can happily say that I am completely satisfied with it. I have had many people ask me about it, and I would highly recommend it. If the bike is touched, the alarm simply beeps, but if it is grabbed, the alarm goes off with a screeching loud sound!.

Provides me with peace of mind when parking my bike, allowing me to feel secure about leaving it locked up and close by but out of sight
5/5

While sitting on the beach, I enjoy locking my bike to a light pole. I was constantly turning to check on my bike before I bought this alarm, but now I can relax knowing that if anyone messes with my bike, the alarm will sound.

Some types of thieves are deterred by a good alarm
4/5

I use the alarm in the same way that a car alarm would be used. When I get off the bike, I press the button, hear the beep, and trust that everything is in working order. I also use a bolt lock to keep it secure. The alarm's sole purpose is to create noise, distract the thief, and draw attention to the bike; it is quite loud and appropriately "obnoxious" to do so. Because I've had a lot of bicycles stolen in my life, I'm a little hesitant to take this precaution because I'm aware of how cunning thieves can be.

It's also compatible with some mobility scooters! This alarm was installed on my brand new mobility scooter as a precautionary measure in case I needed to leave it unattended for a short period of time
5/5

I "armed it" for a quick test after finishing the installation, made a cup of coffee, and sat back to watch TV, completely forgetting that the alarm had been set. Later, as I walked past it on my way into the kitchen, it startled me by blasting the first warning screech, sending me fleeing for the controller before frightening my neighbors. Soon, I'll put it to the test outside my building, where it will be left unattended in the presence of some of my nosy neighbors!.

It's useful for getting alerts when the bike is moved or touched
4/5

Theft of a bicycle is unavoidable. Knowing how inexpensive and simple it is for sellers to buy positive reviews, I was initially skeptical. As a result, I read a lot of the 5-star reviews on Amazon. if you look at the details, a lot of them appear to be real. As a result, I decided to give Arlam a shot. It's simple to set up, to learn, and to use, and it's loud enough. It's excruciatingly painful inside a room, but once outside, it's "fine- loud". THIS WILL NOT PREVENT THEFT OF YOUR BIKE! br>br> br>I've had it for a month and purposefully set it off while biking. People are staring at me, but no one is speaking up or reporting what they see. They only see it as a noisy gadget toy. When I pick up my bike after parking it in front of a store, it's the same thing. No one has ever questioned me, followed me, or called on me if I let the alarm ring at its maximum volume while I pick up the bike, mount it, and ride away. My bike, on the other hand, does not appear to be low-cost! br>br>It will be simple to remove, smash with a medium-sized rock, or fill the speaker with expanding foam in a matter of seconds, regardless of how it is attached to the bike. br>br>THIS IS ONLY FOR NOTIFICATIONbr>If you want to know if someone is moving your bike from your garage or from against the wall near the outside table where you are drinking coffee, this is the product to use. That is all there is to it. And if you're okay with that, it's the product you've been looking for!.

It's a loud speaker that's also simple to set up
5/5

I spent a lot of money on this bike and wanted more than just a lock to protect it, and this did exactly that. I love how easy it was to install this alarm, and it's already kept people away and alerted me when someone touched my bike. Great purchase.

Bracket isn't well-designed, but it does provide a good level of security
4/5

I can't even get the two "rectangular nuts" into the alarm, as shown in step one. For the past 15 minutes, I've been attempting to solve this problem. Whichever way I go, I'll be fine. The metal piece cannot fit into the holes because they are too small. It's difficult enough to get it into the first plastic loop. It is unquestionably loud. br>br> When I took out the plastic strip to activate the battery, it scared the hell out of me. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing that they had a bracket system instead of simply putting it in a bag or zip tying it to the frame. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> My husband was able to make the plastic look nice enough for them to fit in. However, they should double-check that this can be done without risking a screwdriver stab in the eye. It's on and it feels solid. br>br> I'm relieved that I'll be able to change the batteries by unscrewing the bracket.
