It's only about a foot long.
Battery power is used by this alarm. I didn't have any problems with the battery draining. You didn't say how long it takes for the battery to be completely depleted. If possible, unplug the alarm to see if the battery is being drained.
The alarm is the only thing that goes off. The only functions of the remote are to turn it on and off, as well as to adjust the sensitivity.

This alarm works well as a deterrent because if a thief sees and/or hears you alarming your motorcycle, they may choose a less difficult target. I gave motion detection a four-star rating because, while it is sensitive, the alarm may or may not fully sound depending on where I bump the bike (3chirps rather than full-on ringing). With that said, I highly recommend this alarm for use on a Honda Grom-sized motorcycle, and installing it beneath the seat with a little modification works great.
Well. When you arm it, it beeps once, and when you dis-arm it, it beeps twice. arm, and that's all there is to it. br>I have it mounted vertically on my golf cart and it does not trigger when I jump up and down on it. br>So, what's the point of this alarm? br>I'd change the sensitivity, but the instructions are confusing. The only issue is that it must be installed vertically; it cannot be installed horizontally because it will not work if it is laying down flat or hanging upside down flat; it must be installed vertically. Other than that, it is a good alarm for the price. I am not sure how long it will last; time will tell; I will update my review in a few months; but for now, it works perfectly.
This is perfect for my needs; it doesn't disable the ignition, but it does draw attention. I used it on a scooter that is within hearing distance, so if it is touched, it will make a noise. I chose a sensitivity level that was in the middle of the spectrum. Because this alarm is extremely sensitive, a high sensitivity setting was not required. Instead of using the double-sided tape that came with it, I used two screws in the holes provided. In order to protect other nearby wiring, I also added an inline fuse. It's an excellent product that's well worth the money.
It appears that the radio frequency of this alarm coincides with another alarm system on my bike, making the selection of warnings DIFFICULT. the alarm is DIFFERENT. LOUD! That appeals to me. The alarm clock is WAY TOO EARLY! br>br>MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY.
The remotes, on the other hand, are solid, and the music is loud. I haven't yet experimented with the sensitivity setting. I'm very happy with the price!.
Exceptional quality. Loud. Installing it was a breeze. br>br>However, I was unable to increase the sensitivity high enough to activate the device once mounted on my motorcycle, rendering it useless. br>br>As I had multiple exchanges regarding this issue, the seller provided excellent customer service. br>br>5 stars for customer service, 3 stars for the alarm (due to the fact that it would not work for my cycle). = 4 total.
Loud . I adore it because it is sensitive. It is very simple to set up. Abd, as far as I can tell, does not deplete my battery. My bike had been sitting for a month without being started, and when I went to start it, it started right up. (There was no tender or battery charger connected, which surprised me. ).
