My review has been changed to 1 star due to my inability to complete it. Despite only having the alarm for a few months, it has started malfunctioning. A lock and an unlock are sometimes associated with it. Locks can get stuck from time to time. Having the remote stuck on my bike meant that I had to ride a mile with the alarm going off. Usually when I take the remote cover off, it seems to reset and work, but obviously this approach isn't for every day use. Despite the fact that I'm a huge fan of the concept of this alarm, if I had to buy this again, I'd probably choose another brand. Having purchased these alarms a few times before, I have placed them in my rockets so I can tap the button after they have been launched and it will tell me where it was launched. I used the clip it came with rather than the pin to attach it to the rocket unlike other times. As soon as the parachute deployed, it separated from the aircraft and was shot straight to the ground. The volume level and sensitivity can be easily adjusted. It's a very effective alarm for a reasonable price. When the stock volume settings are very loud, I have reduced the volume to the middle setting and reduced the sensitivity by one level about a week ago, still very sensitive. Easy to attach anywhere, I keep mine in my bag and slide it under the seat when I want to set it off. If you have any questions, or if you have any problems, the customer service is excellent. The tool offers additional security and deters bike theft while nothing can stop all theft, but this is one more way to add security to your bike.

I really like how well it works. You will hear a brief buzzer noise if you gently prod the bike. The noise was loud if you moved away from it.
It is necessary to improve the instructions. It is nearly the same volume at all 7 levels. Easily pairs up one to one with a partner. A remote fob that can be shared by two bikes might be a good idea. You could also place these inside a locked closet or cabinet, or a shed. Please be aware that your remote fob does not inform you of anything it is the bike's sound that has that function.
