Pro: The housing appears to be well built. It's been out in the elements for a few weeks and hasn't gotten wet. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. WIRED IN THE WRONG DIRECTION! From the charger panel, I had to reverse the leads. Packaging is abysmal - There is little defense. Handling had left a mark on the package. It was fortunate that it arrived in good condition and with all of the necessary accessories! br>br>Normally, I would have returned it, but it was necessary for me to keep it. I would never buy from this seller or buy from her again. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> br>br>Frank from Suner Power contacted me about my solar charger problems. He included a polarity reverse cable in the adapter kit he sent me. I used it in conjunction with a solar charger on equipment that I had previously been unable to use. It was a total success. In addition, he offered to refund the cost of the solar charger in exchange for my problems with it. I told him that I'm very happy with the charger's performance, so instead of a refund, I'd like him to send me another - He succeeded in this. Thank you very much, Frank! br>I am changing my rating to 5 stars as a result of this performance and service. I should have given it a 4 because the original charger's packaging was still quite poor and didn't withstand shipping and handling. Suner still has room for improvement in terms of packaging: Suner, on the other hand, did an excellent job of making things right.

I've got it hooked up to my battery, and it's been running smoothly so far. When it detects sunlight, it flashes red for a few seconds before turning off. It's been keeping my battery charged, and I like the idea of not having to disconnect from it. It also does what it says it will do and when it says it will do it.

When my wife got her Audi Q5, we decided to keep her 2013 Tahoe, which she'd had since new, so she could tow her trailer. The severe winter storm earlier this year nearly killed the brand new battery, which took over 24 hours to turn over on a charger. I ordered this little diddy right away, and now I won't have to worry about weekly start-ups when I'm not using it. I chose to plug it into the cigarette lighter receiver and place it in the dash to soak up some solar power, and the new battery that we thought was ruined hasn't given us any problems since. It's small enough to unplug and store safely when the Tahoe is being driven, and I'm confident she won't have any issues in the future. Anyone who has extra vehicles should have one of these for each one.

For best results, it must be exposed to direct sunlight. My RV's deep cycle battery is currently being charged. It took some time, but it was worth it. For a while, it was blinking green until I exposed it to direct sunlight. After that, everything went smoothly, and I was able to charge my battery from 11 to 12. In less than 4 hours, you can go from 9V to just over 12V.

There are two vehicles in our fleet. One that we use on a regular basis and one that sits in the driveway. The battery in my car died and I had to get a new one because I don't drive very much. COVID- The pandemic of 19 had shut down our city, and I had forgotten about the new battery. I left it in the cold for a month because I didn't connect it to the car. After connecting the solar panel to the battery, the panel began indicating that the battery was fully charged after about a week. Wow. We're thinking about getting another one for our other car, which gets the most use.

Thanks. I have a truck that I use once a week to go to the dump or Home Depot, and it works perfectly. The battery is always low and requires a jump start. That is no longer the case. It starts on a dime and is a good buy.

Some people claim that it isn't working, and this may be true if you don't test it with a meter as directed. I was on page 12 of my book. 8 amps at the battery, and after testing with the meter, the red blinking stopped and the green blinking began, indicating a defective unit. Getting a defective unit when you have a busy life is a huge waste of time, but I'll update my review based on how they respond to my warranty claim. Make sure to put your panels to the test.

I've got one installed on an '04 Rubicon at home in northern California so I can keep an eye on it, and it's working fine so far. Keeps the battery charged but not overcharged, and even produces enough power on cloudy days (charging mode is indicated by a small red LED light on the device). I use a voltage/multimeter to check the standing battery voltage from time to time, and everything appears to be fine after two months of continuous use. The need to connect and disconnect a remote supply power source (110v extension cord) is eliminated. When I'm driving the car, I don't have to worry about the battery connectors. Later in the spring, I'll return to provide an update on longer-term use. Aside from that, the product appears to be excellent.
