The power supply is called a 12V power supply even though it puts out no less than 13V. How many volts?

Normally a dc power supply is 12 volts, which would fit into a car battery or anything else that operates As an example, the battery or alternator of your 12 volt car operates at 13 volts. In most cases, 4 volts are required. There is no 12 volt reference. It is just a reference to the fact that is is an automotive battery piece. An error message appears and a Date code of 2001 is displayed
3/5

Upon arrival, the Power Supply was packaged inside 2 cardboard boxes with padding. Overall, the packaging was OK.
When I plugged the unit in, the fan did not run or the power supply light did not come on. A reading of zero volts was taken at the terminals, and each of the three 40amp fuses was checked for failure. Despite having noticed a black stain on the red power supply connector, I haven't had a chance to check for more. It appears that the terminal screws were used to fix a possible short (see photo). There were a number of things worth noticing on the box, but the Date Code of 2001 was the most noticeable.

Worked but not as expected

In order to make sure I ordered the right replacement unit to replace the one my camper had gone out, I looked on their website. The information said to buy An employee came to install and left the machine not turning on for three There was 105 degrees here in Texas at the time, probably even warmer, and my husband was nowhere to be seen. Without lights, a fridge, or anything else, I had I have to sit in the car for an hour in the heat with no AC because I'm afraid if we leave a dog in there it'll be too hot. It took me so long to get the Even though the green light on it was on and it looked like it was charging, it was not. In addition to doing the exact same thing, I have another Dewalt battery charger that does not come with a cable. I'm going solar anytime now so that's fine.

It has been in my outside shed for the last year and still works great. I have other units I bought a year ago and they have worked great.

The charger is suitable for charging indoors In a DIY UPS scenario, line batteries are used
5/5

As I am writing this review for the 100A model and not the one we sell here, I assume it is the same. In addition to being an excellent choice for building an in-house solution, this power supply is also a reliable one An inverter is connected to the batteries in a line UPS so the batteries are constantly charged. The utility power is not cut off and there is no need to switch to battery backup power. It might not be possible to tolerate the switching time in some applications. I have no problem with this
5/5

The installation was easy after I watched multiple videos on YouTube. I noticed that my battery is now charging faster than it used to. There is a bit of whine in the fan, but it is still a decent purchase in the end. A few cuts were required in order for it to.
