Yes, the receptacle is included. There is one thing to note. The knockouts are harder to remove than ever before and I've never had a box with as many difficult knockouts as this
A cable connection is not available

As a first step, I am pleased with this box but it is not an easy job to install for one person. of all, the door will not stay up on its own so drilling and screwing the box in place is a whole 3 ring circus on its own. The door was ultimately taped open with a piece of tape. Also, there is no back knockout for cable access, so you will have to drill a hole in a building wall if you are installing it to connect to electrical wiring. Third, the back face of the cover does not have a smooth flat surface, so after you install the cover you will need to silicon it in place so the back face does not become a dumping ground for rain. In the fourth position, it is hard to close the door properly as the mechanism is too tight. You have to press the dimple with your finger to make the door go all the way shut. As you can see, the bottom is open, so it's a great spot for these neighborhood wasps to build a nest. BUT I like it and it's being used right now!.
It really would have made more sense to return It was really difficult to make them work, but I did it because the box itself is sturdy and should hold up fine. It is very cheap to buy the rest of the parts. Despite being strong, the lugs on the receptacle are fragile. You can overdose if you- You will lose a lot of electricity if you do not tighten the screws. Three inches long is the length of the grounding wire. A code specifies that the box should extend 6 inches outside the box so that the receptacle can be easily reached and repaired. There were some flimsy grounding wires, so I replaced them. Lowes had some good ones for $8, so I went there to replace the one I bought for so cheap. I threw away the ones that came with the boxes, and replaced them with the ones I purchased. There are three knockouts on the boxes, but you cannot knock them It seemed like I tried beating the crap out of the box, but the knockouts would not yield. In order to remove them, I needed to use a step drill bit. I kept them because I was pressed for time. They are not worth buying unless you know a little about mechanical and electrical work. The way. They can be made to work, but it is not worth the effort.
In the process, they install the smallest screws, "less than a quarter inch long," and the cheapest screws in order to join two plates inside the box so your fingers won't be able to thread them. In the event that the screws are dropped, they must be found on the ground or on the grass, and therefore you end up having to travel to the hardware store (12 miles) to buy 1/2 and These screws were not available at the hardware store Due to their small diameter and fine machine thread, these screws are not found at most stores and are smaller in diameter than standard light switch faceplate screws. Could you tell me why they couldn't just use standard screws on the faceplate? Does this have anything to do with the fact that they are manufactured The priority areas that they are working on!.
A knock out would have been expected in this box, similar to other electrical boxes, but this one did not have one There is a metal circle inside of the knock out area with two holes A total of 3 welds are holding the joint together. By using this method, the knock out is easily removed. I wanted the wires to go through was solid metal so I had to drill a few holes in it and then file a round opening in it to do so. My lack of an electrician's tool and lack of knowledge led me to be naive. Also, the wire that connected to the ground was too short. Bottom line, it worked but I had to put so much work into it.
This is a pretty good product overall. difficult time with the wiring, since the ground wire provided was very short. Was hard to reinstall it after wiring the outlet (the box is In order to put the ground on, you need to get the plate on the outlet right. Otherwise you won't be able to install it. It is also nearly impossible to open the lid because it has a catch. The latch would not latch back once I had opened it. Besides the fact that the male end of the plug fit under the lid, it came with a small padlock that I thought was cute.
I'm sure it will be tough and weatherproof. One of the things I don't like about this device is the front cover won't stay up once it's open, making it impossible to connect wires, and the two screws that hold the cover on are extremely tiny, I suspect they'll have an issue later on.
I gave this product a zero. There was an issue with the knock-outs for wires to run into the box only working on the largest sizes. It was very difficult to connect the wires to the plugs. I got it hooked up finally and it is working, so I guess that is the good news.
The design of the product was poor. As far as I know, this is the first electrical box where I tried to remove knockouts and bent it. I had to drill the plug out in order to get power into the machine. There were 2 screws holding the front panel in place, only one should be required. There is no way to effectively connect the out from the ground jumper, unless you have really.
