Questions & Answers
If you removed a 1156 bulb, replace it with a replacement bulb. A JVAR ten pack can be used to replace a 1156 as well as any of the other items on this list.
I was blown away by the whiteness and the lack of blue. They are my favorite.
I didn't have to rewire anything because I simply replaced all of the same bulbs in my camper. Just be sure to mention them in the description. You couldn't tell the difference between one of these bulbs and a regular bulb in the same double light fixture. These consume significantly less energy and run much cooler. br>Oh, and if you do get these, if they don't work after you put them in the socket, flip the bulb and reinsert it; they only work in one direction.

I was tired of the dim lights on my old John Deere riding mowers, so I packed some extra lights. I cut on a rural roadside on a regular basis because I enjoy being illuminated there, and I also cut into the evening on our acreage in Central Texas on occasion. I installed these bulbs in each of the three mowers (each of which is used for a different purpose). br>br>I was blown away by the amount of light these things produced; it was extremely helpful! br>br>I had assumed that this type of lightbulb would last a long time, but boy, was I wrong! br>br>Recently, the roadside mower I use lacked any lights. When I removed the bulbs, I discovered that they had simply disintegrated. I shook them out because the cap on the top of the bulb was floating around in the headlight unit, and I discovered that the solder holding that cap to the rest of the bulb had melted, and the rest of the structure had disintegrated. br>br>If you plan on using these pathetic things as a trailer light or something similar, expect to be pulled over for driving without trailer lights. They aren't worth the time and effort it took to ship them, let alone the money it cost to purchase them. These bulbs should be avoided at all costs. br>br> You will be irritated by them.
LED lighting was desired, but not the harsh white light found in hospitals and police stations. When I operate my motorhome, I now have warm white lighting that is closer to 85 degrees than when it was new. Incandescent bulbs with a temperature of 235 degrees. It's safer, cooler, and uses about a tenth of the wattage and electricity it did before.
These LED bulbs were purchased to replace the hot, high-current 1157 incandescent bulbs in the interior lights of my truck camper. So far, everything has gone well! These bulbs are just as bright as the old ones and have a very similar color temperature. I despise bright white LEDs because they are garish, glaring, and cold to the touch, and I prefer the warmth of a traditional warm white bulb. These are slightly more yellow in color, but they are still very acceptable and comfortable in my opinion. br>br>I've had them in use for a few camping trips now, and they run on battery power at about 12 volts. The voltage ranges from 6 to 14 volts. When plugged in, the power converter boosts the batteries to 3 volts, and none of them have yet to fail. So far, they appear to be coping well with voltage fluctuations. br>br>I'm pleased with the price.
I won't criticize the product because it appears to be of good quality, but I do wish they had made this clear in the description. I'm also perplexed as to why someone thought it would be a good idea to make LEDs with reverse polarity. It seems like a waste of time, but I'm sure there's a reason for it. They do, however, fit into the socket comfortably and securely.
So far, I really like them. Edit; One of them went bad and started flickering after a few months of use (like clockwork with led's). As most of us are aware, the quality of Chinese leds cannot be trusted. Even with higher-priced brands (which are almost certainly manufactured in the same factories), When they're not working, they have a pleasant appearance. Colors are very nice. Bright. You'll, however, always be playing the game of "how soon will it fail?" Extras should be bought. You can add to the large led replacement baggie in your glove box (which I'm sure will make the vendors happy). (Japanese), - The original Edison bulbs I replaced were more than twenty years old and still working. Just a little less bright, and the old power hogs are still there. It isn't the technology that is causing the problem. It's all about the person who creates them! br>Would I purchase this product again? I'm currently leaning toward no; I'll simply update all of the fixtures and wait for them to fail. br>I'm disappointed, but not surprised.
For the first couple of days, it didn't bother me until I reached up to turn one off and SEARED my finger on the metal casing. The next day, on the advice of my husband, an electrician, I purchased these. They arrived on time, with all of the pieces in place and in working order. I received another order a week later and completed the replacement of my incans with these bad boys. The light is bright, does not get hot, and, according to my husband, will help us save money on electricity. br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is that The soft white creates a pleasant ambiance without the sterile morgue appearance that LEDs are known for.
Only four of the ten options worked for some reason. All of the gate light mounts worked with incandescent bulbs, but only the LED replacements worked. It wasn't the bulb, because they all worked in the unit, but for some reason, even though the incandescent worked, the LED didn't work in the other six outlets.
We were boondocking in our motorhome (camping in the woods and running on batteries), and there was insufficient power to start the generator in the morning. I bought these because they use a fraction of the energy that incandescent bulbs do. All ten of them work after I installed them. I had no idea how many lights/bulbs a 25' motorhome had, so I ordered a second ten-pack. pack.
