The "Super Bright" label on them led us to believe they would be so bright. Despite this, we could only get these bulbs to work in two of the 11 fixtures on our boat. It is true that we turned them over when they didn't work as instructed, and they didn't work at all. Our team found other bulbs that were half the price, but were not called "super bright". They not only worked in all of the fixtures, but were nearly as bright as the super bright bulbs we bought.

While the bulbs are of good quality, extremely inexpensive, and very bright, you should be aware that they are polarity sensitive, unlike old-style I found out that you will have a hard time getting the bulbs to work unless you reverse the wires going into your fixture, which I did and now have the bulbs reversed. Various types of bulbs are available, which are several times more expensive due to more complex onboard electronic components.
