There are two legs of this 240v 50 amp socket for 120v. This 120v adaptor only uses one of those legs. An adapter from 240v to 240v at 30 amps is not available. It will work as long as it is a 120v charger. You will need a different adapter if you want to plug a 240 volt charger into the 50 amp socket.
In addition to running simultaneously, this depends on how many volts are on the post and how many amps the trailer is drawing. We have a surge protector that shows the volts coming into the protector as well as the amps being drawn Most of the time, the AC does not draw more than 14 or 15 amps, but it can shoot up to around 30 when the others are operating, such as the coffee maker, the toaster, and both refrigerators. Furthermore, you may be surprised at how frequently the power at the post drops below a level that can damage an RV's (We have a surge protector which automatically cuts off the power to the trailer if the power at the post drops to a point that the appliances and electrical systems will be damaged). There is a concern about the use of the 10 wire. It might be overkill, but we prefer We always use the AC at home where we have only 15 and 20 amp circuit breakers, and our RV mechanic doesn't recommend using AC on circuits under 30 amps, so we never use our AC at home.
