We could not complete the job with one packet. In our home, we have a 50 gallon black water tank that is always dumped well before half its Similarly, our RV has a flush system and we have to flush it every so often. When we used one packet we had odor problems, but when we used two packets we had no issues. The product breaks down the waste well, but it does have odor-control issues. In a smaller holding tank, I am sure the product will work, but in a larger holding tank, we lose two days. It isn't an issue that the product releases odors or is ineffective when you use What do you think about these? Will we buy them I have found them at RV supply stores and Wal-Mart while they may not be available at other retailers The job is done by Mart and they do it well.

As well as my black tank, I have a grey tank that I use drop ins in. In our gray water storage tank, we primarily use it to control odors in an RV stored in a building, so we have an excellent understanding of how much bacteria is In just one day, you will detect a bad odor in the grey tank due to bacteria that are in it. In order to kill bacteria, I use half a gallon or one gallon of vinegar each time I store for an extended period of time. I add a drop of vinegar, once the vinegar has been flushed and diluted, to my daily use. My grey tank does not work well with this brand of packet, as it does not dissolve well, in the package, and since it must dissolve on the drain trap, it doesn't work for me. They won't dissolve in water and cutting open the bags won't be a good idea since the dye would stain the object. I have put them in both my sink drain and my shower drain and been submerged repeatedly in water. My black tank will dissolve and release the chemical in the long run if I add enough liquid, but the Camco TST Ultra-S is my first choice. Our RVing experience spans decades, and we have used multiple holding tank treatments, but this holding tank treatment is by far the best for breaking up solid waste and eliminating odor, even under As far as I can tell, the packets tend to stick together and rip open when you try to separate them. This product definitely performs as it was advertised. The plastic cup is used to dissolve the soft drinks in, then it is poured directly into the toilet to remove moisture. It leaves a strong scent and even though it cleans up, you might stain your clothes if you don't do it right away, so be careful not to splatter it. There is no comparison between the results and any other factor.

Leaving a poor review for a small, family-run business is not my ideal way to express my feelings. The product was owned by my company, but I did not find it useful. As a general rule, I use Thetford, and I've never had any odor problems.
