In the case of my husband who is not comfortable with glueing the adapter, can I use the coupler that attaches to the extension hose? The double ended coupler can be purchased separately, can it?

Your husband will not glue the coupler on the extension hose since it is the same as the adapter he wants removed from the pipe. It is not clear what the problem is with gluing on the adapter, but it is the quick disconnect adapter that is causing the problem. The device is a lot more secure when it's attached and it's easy to attach. With the Lippert hose, there is an adapter for the quick disconnect to the bayonet fitting just in case there is an emergency (holes in the hose or nozzles won't work) or if you need to use one of the standard hoses. I was unable to locate an adapter for the quick disconnect fitting to the standard

This is very durable, and I bought it just in case I wouldn't be close enough to reach the one that came with my RV. I love the bayonet style so much more. There is only one reason why I did not give it 5 stars and that is that I was hoping it would be a little cheaper.

There are times when extra length is Lippert Waste Management system as a whole is the best when additional length is needed as opposed to the bayonet style systems

Before using this extension hose, I received it and inspected it after it arrived. I found that one side was poorly glued and the other side was not If you receive it, make sure you thoroughly verify it after you receive it. Some problems might not be evident at first glance.

I have been using the first part for years (I work full time) and it continues to work well. There doesn't seem to be any difference between the extension and the classic. I am just in love with this stuff. There is already a Lippert waste system in my house. A simple extension was all that was involved. One thing I would like to see added to the storage area is plastic dust and debris covers.
