Because I have a 45° clear elbow, I can set up my macerator pump to clean out the black tank when it is not near a sewer outlet.
A clear clean out at the RV's hose connection is a great way to see when the last drop of fluid has left your black and grey tanks. After a year of travel, this item is solid and still works perfectly.
While using a macerator pump on my camper, I had a pressed together 45 degree that came apart. Needless to say, I had a disaster on my hands. This is a one-piece molded product that cannot be disassembled.
There are no significant flaws in the product; it performs as expected.
