It is approximately 8-inches in length. 9 inches in length Because I have a straight drop from the tank connector to the wet bay's floor, it works perfectly for me.
Yes.
I'm not sure what the OD is. However, I can tell you that it is a standard size that will fit through the hole in the RV floor that accommodates the sewer pipe; I have a Valera sewer pipe that works perfectly.

It was a good fit, and it brought my sewer hose out to the edge of the fifth wheel, which makes it easier to hook up because you don't have to get down on your knees and reach under to connect the hose. It shifted the location to the edge, about five inches. Strong and with a good view. It was easy to remove the sticker. The factory end cap has enough tether length to reach and cover the extension end without difficulty. If you only need to travel a short distance, this is an excellent trick. If you need a longer one, you can buy one that is longer.
When my black tank is completely clean, I like to'see' it. I've never gotten queasy seeing 'brown' human waste water draining (isn't that the point)? Valterra's 10" clearview" adaptor allows it, and I've personally made three different length hoses, each with one of Valterra's 10" Clearview adaptors, which allow me to see when all of the flushings water have paid off! You want to know about "three" different sewer drain hoses, right? I've never been further away than a few feet for two minutes (rather than using a long hose) while I've been dumping cesspit holes in southern Utah (I store the Northwood Manufacturing Arctic Fox 29 at the airport because I enjoy the Idaho winter months).
I was looking for a specific extension, and this was exactly what I was looking for. The clear view makes it easier to see the discharge state. One disadvantage is that it does not lock on as securely as my hoses. When I unplug it, the extension comes off first, followed by the hoses. I wanted it to be a permanent fixture so I wouldn't have to crawl under the RV to connect hoses.
There were no leaks, and the system worked perfectly. I had a good time watching the show.
This was installed at the inside connection point for the tank hoses that lead to the in-floor heating system. a sewer connection in the ground The fit is excellent, though a little snug (which isn't necessarily a bad thing in this case). It allows me to see when the water in the black tank is clear(ish) or when the gray tank has emptied. You'll require a black-tie outfit. This will be sealed with a colored cap once it has been used. If you don't have one, go out and get one. The cap collects any drips that may have made their way into the compartment and alerts you if you (heaven forbid) forget to close the tank valve. In this case, you can at least prepare for the cleanup rather than being caught in the middle of it without realizing it was coming down the chute. At this point, you can also close the valve. Only the contents of this tube need to be cleaned up.
Whoo Hoo! I took a different approach. The Camco Flexible Swivel Stik is what I have.
I have a clear elbow on the other end of the hose, but it's difficult to see the bits and pieces I want to make sure are removed at each washout. In my opinion, this is a must.
