Questions & Answers
Is this trailer compatible with a Lance 1685?
Towable RVs generally come with an adapter to flush the gray tank / sewer. There is a replacement cap here for the drain cap on the Due to the longer handle, removal is much easier with this one. You can also use a hose to flush out the drain area through a small connection. That would not be appropriate for me, though it would be fine for you.
Does the handle on the 'grip' stick ?
A 2-inch extension of the handle is visible on the outside Surface is 1/4" from the edge. There is no need for an OEM cap since this one is so much easier to open.
Are there any problems attaching / removing the water hose fitting when using the handle?
However, I have not hooked up my hose to mine, but I don't see any reason the handle could cause problems.
Selected User Reviews For Valterra F02-3106BK Black Bulk EZ Coupler Valve Cap with Handle
Adding new LED lighting to your RV is a very easy and inexpensive saw a video recently discussing how you can make some inexpensive repairs to your RV, and this EZ Coupler Cover was mentioned
I think this is a great The device is very inexpensive for what it gives you to make dumping the tanks more convenient and less messy, as you won't need to get your hands wet in the drain if your coupler cover has a leak. exactly what you see in the product information page, just the coupler with a much better and longer handle this also includes a standard hose adapter with its own cable should you wish to use a hose for backflushing the drain or black tank. It's not something I need, but I am aware of it. Simply undo the silicon cable that is attached to the RV drain coupler with a formed 'O' ring of sorts attached to the pin so you won't lose the cover if you forget to tighten it all back up before leaving (checklist? The new silicon cord will need to be twisted on the pins and the new cover attached to lock it in place. While it was not expensive, I kept the old cover in the box with the RV odds and ends so I can leave it behind in case we sell this RV or if we decide to trade it in I can put the original back on and use it for our next one. I cannot find them locally in my part of the world.

I like it all. The bag is well-made, it seals and locks perfectly. It is much easier to remove and install than the This is a much more professional-looking version than the original. It is a GOOD idea NOT to remove this cap when it is below 50 degrees, and it is especially dangerous when it is below It is important to note that plastic becomes brittle when cold, and locking tabs will break.

The interface is simple and easy My wife and I bought it mostly so we can do our dumps more easily
Even though I still do most of them, it won't be a problem to make it easier for me as well! Easy installation - just follow the instructions However, I did manage to attach the lanyard to the pipe once the lanyard was connected. I was able to attach the new cap and remove it without any problems after that. This cap seems to be of the same quality as the original.

This cover is a bit limited in size, although I appreciate the handle
I find the four slots more annoying than the usual two when it comes to removing the cover to dump waste. I've tried using giant pipe clamps, but I've been unable to remove this cover! It is a good thing there is only liquid in my black tank, and no paper. In addition to replacing the hose end when I bought this item, I put silicone on both surfaces before I assembled it. My hose fits far too tightly on the end of the hose. A pity, since with the handle, it would have been great.

However, I did not turn out to be what I expected
It is mentioned in the item. However, I did not turn out to be what I expected. As you can see from the picture, the item is lighter and skimpier than what was described.

By adding this new cap, you can remove the lid much easier and it prevents your hands from coming into contact with The only problem I have (and it's not the cap's fault) is that the hose fitting is not at the 6 o'clock position when the cap is on. There is a problem with the fitting on the rig because it is.

It's not what you see in the picture
It looks just as it does on the site, but it has four rather than two ears, and it is not as substantial as the one I ordered. This is my first time using it, and I am still getting used to After I see how it works, I will attempt to add to my review.

Solving a problem in a simple way
RV sewer hose caps can sometimes be difficult to remove, especially when you are wearing disposable gloves while emptying your holding tank. Regardless of whether you wear gloves or not, you can easily remove this cap via the handle. The gloves won't be torn either, so you won't need to take any chances.
