Our Navion RV grey tank's 3" connector began to leak. This 3" connector fitted perfectly and appears to be of good quality. When I took out the original connector, it was clear why it was leaking. Winnebago appears to have overtightened the screw clamp, causing the rubber to be cut. (The size of the split can be seen in the second picture! ) I wasn't sure if this was the right length at first, but it's the perfect fit when compared to the original, and it's highly recommended if you need to replace your rubber connector.
In my Class C Winnebago motorhome, I replaced the couplings on the gray and black water tanks. These are superior to the original couplings in terms of quality.
Winnebago motor homes and trailers have a 3" connection on their black and gray holding tanks.
On a 2004 Winnebago waste tank, I replaced 17-year-old flexible couplings. After I replaced the waste valves, the old couplings split and leaked. Tip: Unfasten these couplings if you're going to install new waste valves so that the piping and flanges can move freely and the couplings don't get damaged. It's a lot easier to put the valves in now. It's also easier to screw in the new valve if the valve flange is disconnected from the coupling.
It doesn't fit Valera's 3" waste valve or my 3" waste tank port; I assumed it was for going over the waste valve, but it's the same size, so it's useless. To use this, I'd have to glue in an internal hard coupler on the tank and valve, which is nearly useless.
Our motorhome's old rubber connectors were starting to leak due to dry rot. This connector replaced both of them, and it's far more solid and long-lasting than the old rubber connectors.
The black and grey water lines on a Winnebago Class B were replaced with these exact replacements. The originals had rotted away, so hopefully these will outlast them.
The old coupling, which was dry rotting and cracked, was used to connect the holding tank to the discharge pipe. Everything is now working properly. I ordered two and they were both perfect, just like the first.
