This item was not purchased by me. I cut and glued (solvent) a clear see-through adapter to make my own see-through section. Because I use an emaciator and work in such a small space, I purchased a swivel Valtera gate valve and used the clear adapter on the bottom side of the gate valve to attach the emaciator to the drain opening on my motorhome. I originally purchased the Camco gate valve without the see-through section because it did not swivel, which I require in order to attach it to the drain.
The clear piece isn't removable, in my opinion. You can, however, buy them without the transparent piece.

As far as I can tell, the inch measurement is completely inaccurate.
The bayonet rotates and locks onto the mating piece that emerges from the trailer. However, you can purchase a clear elbow that swivels and locks onto the gate valve. The clear elbow then connects to your hose and is useful because it allows you to see if everything coming out is clear. I hope this has been of assistance.

This item caught my eye on the internet and I decided to buy it. I just took off my sewer cap and replaced it with this when it arrived. It's as simple as twisting on the cap to put it on. When I go to a new park and remove my sewer cap, there isn't a drop of water!.
This trip south was the first time I had to use it. Replacing a Camco that had apparently fallen off on our previous trip home. The fact that they don't lock on very well is the main issue with them. I used electrical and duck tape to wrap the thing as tightly as possible around the main valve on this one. Hopefully, this will take care of the issue. There's no way to really screw this on, and I didn't want to use any kind of glue because I might want to take it off later. Camco's products, in general, could be far superior. So, what can you say? It was most likely made in China.
Great product for just in case, if you've been Raving for a while you know stuff happens, if you haven't then let me be the first to tell you stuff happens and if you don't have a way to stop the flow of stuff then you will be covered in it and I can promise you your stuff stinks no matter who you are, this thing will keep you from getting covered in stuff because you can see it and it will shut the flow off if you have a broken tank valve this And for those of you who think that because my rig is new, I won't need one for a few years, it was only 3 months old when it broke open, which I only discovered because I had this valve recommended by KYD. If you don't know Mark and Trish, I highly recommend you check out their YouTube videos; they're extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.
First and foremost, yes, it is exactly what I needed to fix a leaking grey tank valve. It connects to the old pipe as it should, but I believe that attempting to remove the end cap will likely result in the removal of the entire pipe. This could be a disaster if we purchase these items to fix leaky original valves. It might make more sense to place the hooks that connect to the original pipe in such a way that when you remove the cap, the turning motion tightens the body on.
This was purchased for use in a recreational vehicle. It got into the wrong hands. I had to use couplings from the bad valve because the company sent a new valve. No response from the company when I contacted them again. Camco saved some plastic by cutting back on the centers between bolts, which caused the wings where the four bolts go to bend. As a result, the gaskets against the valve's gate are not squeezed. I purchased an excessive amount of faulty Camco RV equipment. I've finally grasped the significance of what I've learned. Look for a different maker.
This was purchased for my 2018 Minnie Winnie Class C. Return it to the dump pipe. tucked up against the frame of my chassis, making it difficult to see down When connecting the sewer hose, move the hose up. Furthermore, it appears that the black/gray levers always leak a small amount of fluid, which makes removing the sewer cap a pain. I like the idea of adding a layer of protection when using the sewer hose. The Campco has a nice tight lever. However, due to the frame and proximity of the sewer drain, I discovered that I can only install the Campco in one direction on my RV. As a result, the pull release lever is angled down at a 30 degree angle. As a result, it hangs at a lower level than I prefer. Due to the bend in the Campco and my RV frame, this was the only way I could connect it. However, it closes the gap between the drain and the sewer. It will take some time to see if this will work or not.
Installed this valve on my RV because the black and or grey valves would occasionally, not often, but once was one too many times, fail to seal properly, resulting in sewage spilling onto the ground when I removed the cap from the sewer line. That is not the case with this valve. The clear plastic also allows you to see when the tanks are empty and, if your tanks have a rinse feature, when the water begins to run clear. I would buy it again if I had the opportunity.
When emptying a 15 gallon portable overflow tank into a toilet or sewer dump station, I use it as a flow control. The item is in good condition. The cap shown in the photo is not the one that comes with the product, but it does have four pawls and seals well. br>br>This is the portable dump tank to which I'm attaching it:
