Questions & Answers
It connects the hose end elbow to the adapter that is inserted into the sewer pipe, raising the hose end by about 4 inches. Camco fittings are compatible with this.
Straight pipe 3 inches in diameter
Yes, you certainly can.
The extension measures 3 inches in length. It's just long enough to elevate the elbow connection above recessed concrete sewer outlets, allowing the hose to be properly connected. In the last few months, this small extension has saved my life on several occasions.

This fits inside an RV sewer hose's elbow joint (tightly connecting the threaded end that screws into the sewer and the elbow joint itself). We've stayed at a few campgrounds with recessed sewer connections, which prevent a tight (properly screwed in) connection, and this has solved the problem completely- It makes a secure sewer connection in a recessed sewer with minimal effort, and it's clear, so you can see how dumping and flushing are going. br>I noticed that at least one review suggests that the added height may cause instability, and this person obviously does not understand how this works - It should be securely attached in the elbow sewer joint, where it will be perfectly stable and useful when needed.
To screw-in, you extend your elbow. By a few inches, they are connected. This summer, we visited three different RV parks where the connection had been installed too low into a concrete slab, preventing you from threading your hose on (never seen one like that before!). As a result, one of these had to be added to the kit as a new critical adapter. It took only two weeks to arrive, rather than the two months predicted. It is simple to put together. Clear. I'm at a loss for words right now.
I recently purchased this and had no idea I would require it so quickly. The sewer drain at the next location we visited was a few inches beneath ground level. I put this gizmo on and it perfectly raised the hose; it works, doesn't leak, and I like it. That's pretty much it.
What am I going to say about a sewer line extension? It provided a clear view of what was going on by extending the sewer hose. If you require an extension, it appears that you have not read the reviews. If you're reading this for some reason, please like it. Good luck with your camping trip.
When connecting the sewer hose to the campground receptacle, this allows me to double-check for any loose connections.
However, it is a little top-heavy. It's very useful for determining when the tank is full or empty. The elbow, however, becomes a little tall and top heavy as a result of this. It's a little shaky, and we need to keep an eye on it so it doesn't fall out of the dump hole. We haven't had any instances of this so far.
The waste receiver in newer RV resorts is recessed, which causes a problem.
Allows me to connect a clear elbow to a sewer outlet because of the additional height. I wish I had known about this earlier.
