This fits a standard size RV sewer drain pipe, and if regular Camco hoses fit your RV, this should as well. The cap that came with our RV was held on by two clips. Fortunately, one of them had broken, and my husband had noticed it. On our most recent trip, we miraculously arrived home with the cap intact. Our RV has four connectors to attach the clips to, so this cap has FOUR clips. It's the same shape as the original cap, but it's a little more secure. When draining your tank, the lid is transparent, so you can see if you need a bucket. Like our original cap, it comes with an attached lanyard that snaps on with ease.
This was purchased to replace the black sewer cap that came standard with my RV. Simple to replace, and I can now see what's behind the cap before removing it to dump, which eliminates any unpleasant surprises. I also like how it has a blade grip on it to make removing the cap easier. And, unlike other handle styles on the market, it is secured by four grooved clip points, rather than just two.
The standard black pipe cover, made of black plastic, came with our RV. I needed something clear so I could see if there was any residual liquid in the RV black tank exit pipe, and this fits the bill perfectly, with a cap keeper to keep it from getting lost.
I wish I had known about these ten years ago. I'd have bought four of them if they were still available. They're see-through, which I really like. br>They have a great fit that makes them easy to put on and take off, which is the most important factor for me.
I recently purchased a trailer and after seeing a video of someone recommending it, I decided to purchase one of these. I had it up and running in a matter of seconds, and it's fantastic. There are no "surprises" hidden beneath the cover. This is something I would strongly recommend.
Fits just like the original, and the locks are very tight. The clear see-through feature is useful for determining whether you'll be splashed with residual or have a leaking gate valve.
Before you open it, you can see what's going on thanks to the clear cap.
Because of the large tab across the front of the cap, it is easier to put on and remove.
