I was able to use this with my RM2652 with no issues. This tube will brittle over time - I'm certain it will break like the original tube that I replaced (although according to my research, the black will last longer than the white), but was just the right size and was long enough to replace the one that broke.
It is that which is problematic. After learning that they rarely last three years, I began to worry that this was a long-term project. The crumbling of these will cause damage, as did mine. An inexpensive piece of 1/4" ID Vinyl tubing will work just as well and last much longer than the fridge.
It was a great buy and I would purchase it.
If this is the case, you can change it easier than you think. There are 2 screws on the outside and 4 on the inside. Slide the fridge towards the inside about six inches. The hose should be changed and the slider should be retracted.
You need to replace it with the new.
We installed this hose in the RV to replace the drain hose from our Dometic fridge. Compared to what was originally installed at the factory, this tubing is of better quality and heavier. Unlike the first one, this one works well and should last longer.
