Questions & Answers
I had one that lasted for less than a week. In my line of work, I travel frequently, so disconnecting and reconnecting is common. There is threading along the black hose connections with the orange parts (connectors to the RV and the ground sewer system) that's similar to that of a garden hose, so you can screw/unscrew the threads as you please. As soon as the parts were off, I could never connect them, and even at these connections sites, they were always loose, resulting in a useless machine! In order to continue using my DOMINATOR hose, I only buy it. Instead, I am satisfied and much better off with the DOMINATOR. I bought my other product from another provider and I have never had a problem with it. It is more durable and more reliable too.
There's no real way to tell An extension sewer kit is available in 5' lengths, and the 20' sewer hose pictured on Amazon looks like it is an assembly of two x 10' sections. Despite the fact that the distance we have is 15', most people get only 13'. Since previous responses do not seem to line up, perhaps you can speak with Camco directly.
My understanding is that your hose has a variety of connections. With this, you can connect your tank to a standard Due to the fact that our camper is put away for the year, I could not check for you today.
An older model # 39770 with translucent elbow is being sold, but pictures of a newer model with transparent elbow #39771 are being used. I think this is a very shady business

Prior to failing, I had only used this Rhino Flex hose twice and it is stored on my trailer in a safe place. When I was emptying the 28 foot travel trailer black tank into a 42 gallon blue boy waste tank, both ends of the waste hose were securely fastened. In the trailer, I opened the valve for the black water tank and the hose burst out of the blue boy tank's orange connector (come out of the fitting). In spite of the fitting still being firmly in place on the blue boy waste tank, the hose pulled away from it and was able to spill waste all over When I shut off the valve, I was able to stop the waste water flow immediately that had been flowing within. I examined the hose end and determined that it had been glued to The hose was damaged on four points and I was unable to repair it, so I discarded As a result of this very unfortunate, frustrating and scary event, I will no longer use Rhino Flex hoses as the quality of the product is flawed and suspect, and I cannot trust the integrity of these hoses any longer. The Camco company has been contacted and I will await their response, but I urge potential buyers to do their research, look for long-lasting/safe hoses, and make sure you inspect your equipment prior to use so you don't experience this issue.

There is no indication that the quality is bad. There is no way to know until the time comes. I see some reviews that highlight hoses that were glued on and the glue failed over time. Glue does not appear to be present. Although the hose does have clear grease on one end, I assume it is only for the purpose of making the hose screw onto the connector, and not simply to seal the end. I believe as long as the hose does not start leaking, it should work for quite some time.

A copy of this was delivered to the recipient on There are 26 days left until the end of May. I had an issue the second time I tried to dump my blackwater. I saw that the hose on the coupling that goes to the dump station was glued to the coupling and came apart. I'm not happy with this. There is a fountain right outside my window when I return. There will be no more purchases or recommendations from POS.

But, this one failed to impress me. I just got a sewer hose today, and when I opened it, there was so much grease on the outside, I had to wipe it down before it could be handled. So, I went to tighten the lock and found that it had come loose While installing the nuts per the instructions, I noticed that an excess of wire protruded through the opening of the inner sleeve. As long as this was only used for H2O, there would be no issue. I think it does not, since the wire will catch all sorts of debris. I hate it! Picking paper out of my hose is the last thing I want to do. Camco appears to be losing quality control, and this is costly. Only a 3 out of 5 star product, I expected more from them.

I get tired of having to use diagonal pliers to trim the excess wire rib and plastic, then tighten the hose ALL THE WAY into the socket end, and then tighten down the locking ring, on each end of every single RhinoFLEX sewer hose. In light of the price range Camco charges for these hoses, one would expect them to bother to finish their product in lieu of simply informing the customer that they MUST screw the hose all the way into the ends and tighten the locking ring to finish the assembly. CAMCO neglects to mention that the toilets will need to be replaced A paper-based exercise - a "catcher" to catch loose wire and plastic at both ends of the hose Several things to be aware of!.

A big problem! The collars come off, the ends pop up, and the entire thing looks a mess! You have been warned to thoroughly check the tightness of every hose end every time. The product does what it promises, other than the awful mess I had to clear up. My favorite thing about the hose is the way it compacts and stays contracted all by itself. None of the connectors were leaking, as far as I can tell. The hose threads into the connector and the collar screwed down to hold it in place, so it's probably a decent buy for the money, just make sure to check the collars and be advised, because they work that way. In order to make sure you don't have catastrophic failures, it might be a good idea to back off the collar and make sure the hose is screwed all the way into each connector.

So I thought, I've got to have this hose for my RV since I like the camco brand. The orange twist on the sewer dump broke off the second time I used it, but this kit comes with 2! I had it for 3 weeks and had used it twice. In the past 3 months I have purchased and used the orange part 4 times, but on today's use, I hooked the orange part to the camper sewer pipe and ran the other end into the SEWER dump like I always do, but this time the orange part separated and blew away! This means that I got pooped on and all over my new shoes because black water, aka POO, went flying! My experience with this company is over they did not reply to my email or phone calls, so I called Amazon, and as always, they took good care of me. I just want to warn everyone else that the silicone or glue they use to hold on to the hose is a sucka! Luckily, I wasn't wearing my new shoes when it happened! Take a look at the toilet paper!.

It has the worst fittings we've ever seen on a sewer hose. The use of the product failed in less than 20 days. The return cannot be processed at Amazon since the order has been shipped more than 30 days ago. RV parked at a park that does not have legal drainage. Before I made my purchase, I thoroughly researched the Internet. There are many online tools (Blogs, Forums, Facebook etc. ) and we felt that this was the best one to use. That was an error on my part. There is a problem with fittings that people are experiencing. I received an update from CAMCO and AMAZON. After becoming happy customers, we now recommend L'Oreal. It was a pleasure to work with both companies to keep a customer happy. It is an honor to have you as a partner. A new fitting design has been released by CAMCO.
