There is no latch mechanism on the lid, so it closes by gravity. A boat was installed by me

It does not appear to be possible to control the temperature

What is the time and intensity of the shower wand button? Does it normally stay off but can be momentarily turned on?

Normally, it is not on. The water can be obtained by holding the button and pressing again. As soon as you release the button, the water goes off.
