A 90-psi pressure wave affected RV showers and sinks at the campground, and it reduced the pressure to a level conducive to RV use. Doesn't seem to be a limit yet.
An oval shape about an inch and a half in diameter
There is a listing on the site that states the water pressure rating. Psi ratings are assigned to regulators in two ways. The lower psi regulator is what I believe it to be.
There is a male and female connection on the hose, so I don't know what you mean by "too small for any real situation". The hose connections on my wash machine are like this. Your drip controller must have a standard HOSE bib thread in order to work with this.

Our home has about 94 psi of water pressure and we are using the 1120 Brass Water Regulator on our 10 year old Maytag Neptune front loading washing machine. A few days ago, water was dripping into the washer after the power went out. There is a possibility the solenoid operated input water valve will leak when powered off and the water valve is of questionable quality. It didn't help that the water pressure was high. The same thing happened before, but this time the damage was much worse. The accumulated water was flushed out with a spin cycle and I walked away from the washing machine. I clean the floors with a vacuum As the input water valve must have failed completely, the machine filled with water, and the door unlocked after it filled with water. When it unlocked, the water had spilled out of the machine. The water valve for my appliances has been replaced by a Whirlpool 22003834 water valve thermostate (thank god for Amazon Prime two-day delivery). It is a good idea to have two of these Valterra A01-M sensors The 50 PSI lead free water regulators (again from Amazon Prime) are only $38. 05. Upon receiving the item, I had to remove the orange plastic hand tightening ring (interferred with the valve handle) and reverse the strainer/seal (as a previous reviewer suggested). As a result of measuring the pressure from the regulator, I was at 40 Psi hot and humid Using both warm and cold settings, I've run a total of 10 loads of laundry and everything has worked perfectly. Although there are nylon or similar material parts in the brass Valterra reducer, I don't think they will melt or deform when put in It is made of stainless steel model A 1114VP High Flow Stainless Steel Water Regulator (from Amazon) does not appear to include any similar nylon/plastic parts, so I have one of these on hand just to be safe. Due to the lower water pressure, it has been working much better. There are a few pictures in the post.
bought this water regulator from the seller who claimed that it was lead free and "meets all Clean Water Standards" in California. My Arduino gardening system needs an automated solution, so I thought this would be a great one. Well, when I received the product, there was an oversized warning sticker on it that said, "Warning, this product contains chemicals known to cause cancer and birth defects in the state of California. ". So, maybe I'm just not getting the point, but if this product is meant to be consumed, shouldn't it come with a label saying so? It is possible for something to fall under both categories, such as "Well, it may cause cancer, but it's approved to be used in drinking water. ". It does not make much sense to me. hope my Amazon question can be answered by someone who can shed some light on it. My rating will be modified if the seller or someone else replies to my question and gives a good reason why this sticker is on there.
This water is marketed online as drinking water, but you discover when you get it that the label states it contains lead and is not suitable for drinking. This is not something I would recommend. Neither there is a return address to ensure that it can be returned. This is what I got for my money.
We have a very high water pressure in my house because our house is right below a city water tower. My plumber was recording 100 psi on his water pressure gauge when he was working on my outside water faucets. The typical water pressure for faucets ranges from 50 to 75 psi The pressure should be 60 pounds per square inch. I was having problems with light weight garden hoses blowing out due to the high pressures. Water regulators would have worked, but I cannot easily move them around my yard. To solve that problem, I buy many of these heavy duty hoses and install them at my outdoor faucets. Using a lighter, cheaper garden hose has made it possible to reduce the psi by half. We have accomplished our mission.
Despite my initial excitement for this regulator, it has exceeded all of my expectations I bought these to use with outdoor faucets in my home because I frequently had trouble with hoses bursting from the cold, but I couldn't find a solution. It was well made, heavy duty, easy to attach, and built to last. Although these hoses were not of the highest quality, after I had replaced a couple of older ones for newer ones and they ruptured as well, I stepped back to think about the cause of the problem, which in reality had developed over the There is a strong possibility that my problem has to do with high water pressure at the faucets, which was found to be about 90 psi when I tested it. It might be related to my hilly neighborhood (my house is 1/3 up the hill, while neighbors live on the same water line up After six weeks of only infrequent use, so far I have not experienced a Although I haven't looked directly at the practical effects of water pressure reduction on, say, my dog's ability to withstand being squirted from a distance, it does not seem to make much During the summer, outdoor watering is at its peak, so I will update this review then. I am tempted to buy another one of those expandable garden hoses in the meantime. In the past, I have tried one of those products at 90 psi, and it then burst during.
This RV accessory is an absolute must if you glamp. At a couple of state parks where we've stayed, I was worried the high water pressure would cause one of our lines to burst (as did one of our friends). Taking away that risk from the equation is the aim of this regulator. Easily grippable and well-built, the coupling is durable and well constructed.
The brass fitting on the end of the water hose leaks continuously from the end where the water enters. We do not detect any leaks in the hose gasket. If this had been done previously, I would have been able to return to the date when I first used This is another Chinese.
There is no other pressure regulator as simple as this one. The product does what it says. It was on our must-have list of items when we purchased As much as I wanted a pressure gauge, I didn't want one with a glass or acrylic housing, as it was just another thing that could potentially fail. This is a nice, simple, and effective way of doing things.
