Because you can set your rv's water pressure to a low level, and this regulator will protect your rv from excessive water pressure.
It really depends on the manufacturer's recommendations for your RV, but 40-45 minutes is a good starting point. In most cases, a pressure of 45 PSI is considered safe. However, if it isn't listed, always consult your owner's manual or contact the manufacturer.
Please double-check the size of your hose connector; if it's 3/4 inch, it'll work with our water pressure reducer.

The adjustability portal is a huge plus! I'd buy it again if I had the opportunity.
I previously bought a different model from a different manufacturer, and it was garbage! This is fantastic; it's easy to set up and adjust, and the reading is straightforward. This pressure regulator comes highly recommended from me.
We forgot to connect this pressure regulator to the campground water supply on our first trip out in the dark, but after the water line blew off the back of the refrigerator, we remembered. Setting the regulator to 50 psi significantly reduced our water pressure; who knows how high the park pressure was, but I'm guessing it was well over 100 psi. For your RV or camper, you'll need a water pressure regulator.
When it was set for 50 psi, it suddenly reads between 100 and 140 psi. It remains at 100 even when the water is turned off and disconnected. The listing does not include any warranty information. This is a brand that I do not recommend.
It's a solid brass regulator with an integrated pressure gauge of excellent quality. I believe it is a much better value for the money than the cheap plastic ones that are commonly sold for this purpose.
This is required for any RV that is connected to an outside camp ground fosset in order to protect the water hose from excessive pressure. the pipes that lead to the RV Connecting this is a breeze.
This pressure regulator was purchased to safeguard my Motorh I. It was well-packaged, with additional screens and washers included. It's well-built, and I'm confident that it'll keep my RV safe from high water pressure. Installing and using the product is a breeze.
