I received a nice padded envelope that was empty the first time it was shipped to me. The conclusion was a complete surprise. Without any objection, Amazon sent out a second one, which arrived in the same style envelope as the first, resulting in the box being completely crushed and open on both ends. At the very least, the envelope was sealed, and the adapter remained intact. br>br>I built something similar to blow out the RV lines a few years ago, but this one looks much more professional. The valve is usable (not floppy, not overly tight), and the fittings are identical to mine; I've seen similar adapters, but none have the flexible tube portion. The air hose can now hang down without putting too much strain on the water connection. In comparison to other ridged designs, this is a clear advantage. br>br>This makes winterizing at the end of the year a lot easier, and at this price, it's almost not worth it to try to make something that won't work nearly as well or as conveniently.

I worked on my RV for a while

That is precisely what you had to do. The nozzle can be turned on or off. Before using your air compressor on your RV, I strongly advise you to lower the pressure. You should aim for a pressure of around 40 psi. This is similar to what a water pressure regulator does. It was a breeze to blow out the lines.

This is an excellent tool for winterizing my RV

This attachment tool was purchased to use with my air compressor to blow water out of my RV's water lines. This unit is well-made, so I expect it to last a long time. Antifreeze is used less in the process of blowing out the airplanes.
