Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use a regular garden hose for this? Is it possible to lower or turn off the pressure?

Yes, a regular water hose will suffice. There is no way to change the pressure. If you want to adjust the volume flow, you can put a shutoff valve before the pressure valve.

What are the dimensions of the fixtures? What is the difference between 1/2" and 5/8"?

They're both the same size, so they'll fit any outdoor faucet or garden hose. Garden hose thread-cutters, according to the American National Standards Institute, GHT- has a diameter of one inch on the outside 0625 inches long by 11 inches wide There are 5 threads per inch in this design.

This began to leak between the inlet and outlet after 5 years. Is it possible to repair it or should it be discarded?

No, you don't have to throw it away unless it's severely corroded and the thread part is cracked, or you're a millionaire who wants to waste money. Any woman- hose for the garden- o-type connector has an o-type connector has an o-type connector has an o It has a ring gasket in it that needs to be replaced every few years or when it starts to leak. Replacement gaskets are available at most hardware stores for a reasonable price (a few pieces for a dollar), and they are simple to replace.

I live in an apartment, and when they water the lawns, the pressure is frequently low. What is the minimum input pressure for a regulated output of 40 pounds?

Set the sprinkler start time to late at night or early in the morning, so the sprinklers don't use up all of the water pressure needed during the day.

The necessity of the situation
5/5

It's not a perk. If you're going camping, don't forget to bring one with you. It was the first time I had one. After having my last four hoses swell up like an anaconda that just ate a small child, then burst, leaving me with a camper surrounded by a huge mud puddle, or worse, a kitchen sink faucet that literally popped off from the pressure! Consider this scenario: you go to the beach for the afternoon, then return to your camper to discover that your kitchen faucet has been blown out by the 160 psi water hookup, which has been running for 5 hours. Your door has a waterfall coming out of it. Your camper's bottom membrane is dripping with water. You should have just used a regulator if you didn't like life. Get yourself a copy. The water pressure at a campsite can be erratic. Even the most luxurious campers are poorly constructed. Don't ruin your pex piping by skimping on a regulator.

Input is insufficient - Reduced from 68 PSI to 28 PSI
3/5

PSI dropped to 28 as a result of the overindulgence. The output is estimated to be in the range of 40 to 50 kilowatts 50psi. br>PSI from a faucet with and without a regulator is shown in the photos.

I'm not going to purchase anything else
3/5

The one that was leaked was the one that I was working on. Furthermore, you are unacquainted with the concept of pressure. I would advise you to purchase a RVAQUA M11-S instead of wasting your time with this unit. For RV Campers, a 45 PSI Water Pressure Regulator is available. Set it to 60 PSI, and you'll be able to see what kind of service pressure you're getting from the water tap on the gauge at all times.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$ Installed this right before I took my Lance 2285, and my kitchen faucet's water flow was reduced to a trickle in less than two months
3/5

The tap in the bathroom I was about to tow my trailer to the dealership and pay them $150/hour to figure out what was wrong when I decided to remove this regulator from the line, and it worked perfectly after that! I'm no longer purchasing Camco dreck. This could have cost me a lot of money or ruined a vacation for me. Purchase your parts from a reputable RV supplier who places a premium on quality - even if it is slightly more expensive.

The leak started right away, and after less than three months of use, it stopped working
3/5

The item was simple to put together and appeared to be of good quality, but don't be fooled by its appearance; it is garbage. It started leaking within a few days of being installed, whenever there was water flowing. I continued to use it despite the minor leak and the fact that it was installed outside. Now, almost three months later, the item abruptly shuts off water flow at very low PSI, rendering it useless because it cannot be used at a reasonable PSI. br>br>Save your money and invest it in something more worthwhile.

At the camper, it makes noises and introduces air into the system as if it never purges it
3/5

It makes noises with the hose at the camper and introduces air into the system as if it never purges the air out. We no longer use it as a result of these issues. It was a waste of money.

Simply the best! A must-have for RVers who want to use city water faucets
5/5

To protect RV water tanks and connections, this Regulator is a must-have item. Reduces the amount of water pressure that comes out of the spigot to a safe level. br>br>The Regulator is extremely well-designed. It's well-made and will last for a long time. There will be no rust because it is all brass. br>br>One suggestion is to keep a supply of rubber rings on hand to replace when necessary. This unit's only wearable component is the battery. br>br>Easy five stars and a heartfelt recommendation!.

Simple! Durable! Pet Lodge Ever Full Bowl (CPW13) dog waterer has just the right amount of pressure! The brass body is ideal for use outside, especially when there are temperature fluctuations
5/5

We don't travel by RV, but the long-lasting brass body would outlast any plastic or composite-bodied pressure reducers I could find on Amazon. In addition, my dogs would almost certainly chew it right off the faucet. br>br>The wing nut is a type of wing nut that is used to attach a wing to a plane. The male end of your water faucet/valve is connected by a flange like this. With no tools, tightening and removing the strap is a breeze. br>br>Once you've attached the brass reducer to your threaded water source, the next attachment point (i. e. , hose) is installed without the use of any additional tools than your G. Joe has a strong kung fu grip on the situation. The reducer's length allows you to freely turn it on the hose threading without catching your knuckles on the adjacent hook-and-loop. I'm a 4-person team, and I use a 4-person team. My single faucet/valve coming out the front of the house is connected to a manifold. br>br>The most common application was to attach it to Pet Lodge's Ever Full Bowl (CPW13) to reduce the water pressure that was previously pushing water through the nozzle regardless of the volume control. The rubber stopper connected to the air bladder/bobber is pushed outward by this force. As a result, the water would not flow in a predictable pattern. Stop making a puddle on my outdoor patio. Success! br>br> And there will be no spills!.
