Even though I appreciated the idea of simplifying the regeneration process, I was not able to achieve It took all I had to do to rebuild my FlowPure RV softener (which had been destroyed in the Texas freeze) was to remove the top, add salt, let it sit for a while, and drain. In this case, you need to switch hoses, undo hose connections, and wait overnight (?). Getting an idea of what a pencil size stream is and how to figure out when to stop draining are the three steps needed for salt soaking (for best results). It is not my style to be patient with this kind of It was primarily the drinking water filter that made this kit useful.

The salt you add to the filter housing is used to initially charge the Pro Aqua unit, after which it is allowed to run into the unit. The salt should be completely dissolved in a separate container, and the solution should then be added to the filter housing when the system is charged. The filter seems to work very well at the moment. Water in the well was very sour and smelly. I am very satisfied with the Pro Aqua system.

Regeneration by use NOT AT ALL

Product description states that this product is primarily designed to regenerate water softeners. There is no way to accomplish that with it! A softener that requires either 1 or 2 containers of table salt clogs the little 1/4" hose provided very quickly due to the amount of salt in it. have bought new fittings to attach a 1/2" hose to the softener, but it still clogs up during the 30 minute flushing period. I believe that using this method of regeneration is more time and effort consuming than adding salt directly to I think it would be okay to use as a filter canister. In the case of those who said it worked well, I would like to know how they did it If I cannot figure out the method after three tries, I will go back to the original!.

This is a really simple method for charging

Perfect kit to recharge a grain softener with a capacity of 16000 grains. This is the Y-axis My softener had a connector connected to the OUT port, so all I had to do was turn a lever to turn it on or off. It's really as simple as plugging in the 1/4" tubing to the softener and the recharge thing and it's working. ****My only issue with this unit is that the recharger port, located near the garden hose, sprung a leak upon turning The leak reduced when the bolt was tightened, but I had to clamp down on the brass fitting to keep it in place. The best thing to do would be to rip the ptfe tape off and wrap it yourself. This way, you can be sure that nothing will The only reason I would suggest buying this is its ease of use, it was designed for these softeners, and it is so simple to use. The product has now been even better with the addition of this feature.
