In the end, I am The beginning of everything is a new experience. It is shocking to me! According to the description, we received a 4 pack, but only 3 were delivered. I have come to expect a lot from Amazon, but this was different. Having said that, these filters do a good job for our camping needs, but you may be better off getting the single filters. In the event that the problem is corrected, my rating will be adjusted. As a company, Camco stepped it up from a 1 to a 5 star. The manufacture of my fourth filter just delivered it to me. As well as being very pleasant to work with, they were very efficient. Their customer service is as good as their product. These are the filters that we always use on our camping trailer! I appreciate your help.

When I went to an RV park on city water with an odor, I decided to use one of these filters. Following the instructions, I flushed out the drain, but pressure that I had all but disappeared as the water turned from black to clear. The trickle I mean is not low, but a trickle nonetheless. Each of them was the same, so I tried the rest. In the end, I ended up getting the exact same filter from Walmart (but I paid more for it) and it was fine. This batch must have been defective.

It is claimed to be an effective filter, but a couple of things need to be taken into account. There is still a significant amount of debris coming out of my faucet, and this is actually creating problems for my down-stream After about a month, a Pur filter stopped working. I have also noticed that sometimes when I turn the fountain back on and disconnect it, a big gout of brown water comes out of it. I have no idea where that comes This filter is supposed to be good, but I can't tell by any means whether or not it actually works. It takes me about 2 to 3 months to replace them. Lastly, there is the problem of those stupid short flat coat flex hoses that leak like a sieve half of the time. At $10 per pair, they're pretty damn expensive for something that won't keep from leaking. I've had the latest one for a month now and I've had it for about a month. It sounds like a really really lousy solution, especially when one of the three flex hoses I've had to use leaks like crazy when I'm using this filter.

It is an unsafe product! It is unclear to me how this product can be advertised and sold as a drinking water purification device. Our hot tub takes 300 gallons of this product, and the quantity we needed was 3. 5 gallons. Our pre-work was completed in accordance with the prescription You can flush with water. We were shocked at the number of carbon fines ejected from this product, during the time of filling the hot tub! The problem didn't only occur at the beginning of use, but it continued throughout the whole process. There are photos of clogged mesh washers filled with fine carbon in other critical reviews of this product. The non-commercial use of this would be ok with me Although I could use this for drinking water use, I would not consider it for my family's needs.

The filters are the same ones I've used on my camper for years without a problem. Now that my camper has gone to my son, I was trying to determine how I could remove minerals from the rinse water in my car. I'm not certain that these will remove all the minerals, but I am sure they will go a long way in improving the mineral spots on my car and truck after the water dries. The expense of having to construct a separate filtration station is too high, and it may not prove more effective Rain has been intermittently falling since I received these, but the weather is forecast to clear later this week and will give an indication of their suitability for my purposes.

Throughout the last four years, I have been using these filters in our camper. The crew does a fantastic job of cleaning up some of the more disgusting sewage water from the campgrounds. Though the quality of water doesn't match tap water in the city, the filters are an enormous improvement in color and taste. I've only encountered a few seal issues, which were easily fixed by using a small flathead screwdriver to pry the rubber o-ring out. Get rid of the carbon material under the seal and the threads of the filter by taking out the ring screen combo. Reply to what I said It just took a few minutes to seat the seal and the filter was ready.

In spite of the fact that we have a well at home, we still get some hard water stains on our cars when they are washed. It helps to add the filter to the spigot used to wash our cars so we do not get water spots. You will also notice rust and a buildup in the washing machine. Almost no rust is visible on the spigots for the washing machine after I wipe them down with a damp cloth every six months. I'm glad we didn't have to install an expensive water system in our home since the filters do a fantastic job.
