Just took the time to install my new laptop that I purchased about a month ago. In all honesty, I can't say that I notice a difference after a day of use. Despite the fact that it is supposed to arrive fully charged and ready to use, I decided to regenerate the device after several uses, including washing the car and taking a shower. The car were filled with hard water spots that I will have to remove by running it through a car wash. The regeneration and filter kit were also purchased. I bought four pounds of table salt per the instructions. Do I need to reload it halfway through regeneration? The kit only holds 2 pounds of salt. Is it necessary to stop regeneration in the middle Towards the end of the regeneration, I ran the water through the kitchen faucet for about ten minutes to get to the point of getting clear water instead of milky white. Having just taken another shower, I've noticed that the water does not seem different. I will continue to try to get better results, but at this point, I recommend another approach.
About 40 days have passed since we used this, and it has performed well. The computer hasn't been updated yet, but I will do so now that we are back Even though it's a little heavy we can move it in and out of the basement, I do believe it's The weight of the bags is the same for all. It would be great to buy.
I finally have slippery water and soap suds for a shower in my RV! So far, it works great. I noticed a slight drop in water pressure, but it did not concern me too much. It actually extends the time you have access to hot water from the little 5gal heater when you're showering because the slight flow reduction reduces the pressure. This product would be beneficial for anyone who uses their RV on a regular basis.
They sound easy, but we had difficulty, so I kept an extra set of washers on hand. As if by magic, it leaked. There is something a bit off about how it connects, so I had to get a friend to help me out There was a leak at the connection, so we used two washers to stop it. Additionally, he suggested that we get a couple "Y" connectors so we can hook up another hose in case it is needed. The directions don't mention that the grains come with salt already in them for the first time. I intend to get a few quick disconnects when the salt needs to be replenished. Their directions don't include when the grains need to be replaced as well. They are supposed to last five years, according to some sources It is seven years old. Now that it has been connected, it works great.
It came with everything it was going to need. In other reviews from 2019, they mentioned that washers and other items were needed. As a matter of fact, we found this to be untrue. This may have been noticed in reviews, and the manufacturer may have rectified it. When it comes to our very rusty water, we noticed an IMMEDIATE difference in our seasonal campground immediately after installing this filter. This fixed the problem of rust stains on our porcelain toilet that were caused by a lack of water. While I was away over the weekend, Whink (see attached picture) had to be used on a toilet multiple times. I would remove the rust streaks and they would reappear hours later. It has been 2 weekends since I used the softner and no rust stains persist. During showers, we don't have to use as much soap, which has been a big relief for us. In the same way, dishes must be clean.
I was able to set it up and install it without much hassle. Leaking occurred from the fittings that came with it. They have flat sides as well as threads, and shouldn't require a wrench to tighten. I only used one of the fittings included in this kit a quick connect adapter. I found it easy to wash my back using the included fitting, and the included design is well thought out. The cap did need to be tightened up, but aside from that it is leak-free. The bottom of the machine was kept clean by installing it in line and by setting it on a board. We set up this system with a filter first, then we added a water softener and finally we added the filter by the It was immediately apparent that there had been a difference. It sounds like the process of regeneration is simple, and the amount and type of salt should reduce the recurring costs. This sits outside the tank and I do not have to use my water heater as often since it sits outside the black tank and includes a black jacket.
The water in our home is so hard that over time our water faucets, shower head, and toilet have had to be replaced due to calcium particles plugging them up. When used, it is an excellent way to bring soft water into our RV as well as use the pre-filter to increase the quality of water With the filter that is recommended, the soft water tank can be completely regenerated without much hassle. During our full-time travels in the RV, my wife uses a lot of water to prepare meals and clean up afterward for all our extended family members. To determine when the unit needs to be recharged, we use test strips. The unit needs to be recharged.
My experience has been better than expected. I no longer have smelly water in my RV because it is no longer filled with iron. Salting my food is something I do about every six It was an excellent result.
