Is it possible to connect a regular garden hose to the outside connector?

A standard garden hose is not compatible with the PF147006. The adapter is available for purchase under the part number PF247007. You'll be able to connect a garden hose to this.

What is the size of the inlet water fitting? (from the back) ?

1/2 INCHES, BUT THE TUBING IS A BIT SMALLER.

Is there a metal or plastic attachment point on the back?

It's made of vinyl.

Is the male quick disconnect available for purchase, or do you have to purchase the entire coiled hose and sprayer set?

To get the best results, buy the entire hose; crimping it at home requires special tools.

This quick-connect fitting performs admirably. For winter camping and anti-sucking water, I needed it to be both an inlet and an outlet. Because I can't use the holding tanks under the camper because they'll freeze (I also have a heating pad on the holding tanks, but it only keeps up with temps above 10 degrees or so), the jugs in the camper will freeze. I removed the plastic fitting from the back of the quick connect and removed the check that prevents it from being used as an inlet, and it now works perfectly. Simple. For my needs, it was simple to set up and modify. A note to the seller For those who require it, make this device available as a one-way or two-way connector. Not everyone wants to dismantle something they've just bought in order to make changes to it. It's just an idea.

Make sure you don't get yourself into trouble

A rip-off and a false advertisement. For plastic, I had to pay brass prices. They flipped a switch. When I ordered, the white piece on the back was all brass, which was a roo game on me. I looked into similar items and chose this one because it had a brass back. It did, however, arrive in plastic. Since I placed my order, the product listing has also changed. It used to have two pictures (one of which showed the back of the brass), but now there is only one picture with the back hidden. I understand if they were out of an all-brass option, but my order should have been canceled or I should have been charged in accordance with the plastic option, not the brass option.
