Questions & Answers
If straps aren't an option, how are we supposed to mount this tank? Have you made any changes to the threaded ports to make them more durable?
I built wooden supports, using rubber strips to protect the tank's sides. When the tank is full of water, the sides tend to bulge out, so I had a vertical support every 12 inches. The threads on the fittings are tapered pipe threads, which tighten as you screw them clockwise. I also used teflon tape on the threads.
This is something I'd like to put on the top of a trailer. Will direct sunlight have an adverse effect on the plastic?
Yes, a shroud must be constructed around it.
Is it possible to use it as a fuel tank for a diesel heater?
There's no reason why it shouldn't be possible.

For a Van build, this is a fantastic fresh water tank
5/5
In my Van conversion, I installed this tank against a wall on the short side. Vanlifebr>br>It takes up very little space and provides us with plenty of water in this manner. The fabric appears to be thick and long-lasting. br>However, it is mounted on the thin side - To keep it from bulging out, a piece of plywood on the side was used to support it.

Two 15-gallon tanks were bought. The one for fresh water and the other for gray water were both used. It worked out perfectly. There are numerous possibilities to explore. I like how it directs water to the outlet so that when it's drained, there's very little water left. In my self-built trailer camper, it was simple to install.

My husband took measurements to ensure that it would function properly. He knew he'd be close because it's a very hard surface. He considered the cost to be very fair. The tank isn't flexible, so it didn't fit by about a half-inch. We are unable to return it because the shipping cost exceeds our purchase price.
This isn't a greywater tank

This was purchased as part of a horse trailer purchase. It was either fresh or gray water, but it needed to be modified to be used as a gray water tank.
