How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Class A Customs manufactures a 25 gallon fresh or gray water holding tank that is BPA-FREE and made of NSF-approved materials.
MEASUREMENTS OF THE WATER TANK: 33 1/2" Longest Length (not including fittings) x 10" x 17" (rotate tank to change height or width) Average thickness 7/32" /- (/- (Each measurement is 25" long.)
BUILT-IN FITTINGS FOR THE TANK: (ONE) 1. Boss Fitting (Smooth Pipe / Spout) (25" Outer Diameter x 2" Long) is open and glue does not stick to pipe, so a hose with clamp is required (THREE). Fitting is open on a 5" Female NPT Fitting.
NON-PRESSURED TANK: During use, the tank must be vented to allow air in and out. DO NOT connect a garden hose to the tank in a sealed connection; this is a pressurized connection that will cause the tank to explode, causing damage. It is recommended that you use a fill dish or another gravity process to fill the tank.
Extra water storage in RVs, pop-up campers, off-road vehicles, concession trailers, hot dog carts, smaller food vendors, and portable hand washing sinks are all excellent options. This item is manufactured in Elkhart, Indiana, by Class A Customs. Remove any debris from the manufacturing process by sanitizing each tank before use. Tanks are manufactured in a warehouse; to remove surface dust or scuffs, wipe with a damp cloth.

Questions & Answers

So, I'm a little perplexed. Can I hook up a 12 volt water pump, and if so, does it have multiple openings?

It does, in fact, have four side openings. Each corner has one. There are numerous options for connecting a pump and a filling station.

How large is the smooth inlet's inner diameter?

25 inch

I'll have to mount it on its side (i.e., upside down). Is it possible to drill a hole in the tank for a water sensor without causing damage to it (17" vertical)?

I'm not sure because I haven't put the tank in yet. However, all of the existing holes in the tank must be connected to a hose of some sort in order for the water to circulate properly. You won't be able to do without sealing the hole where the sensor will be inserted, in my opinion. I'd either ask or hire a plumber to take care of it. I'm going to have my tank installed by a plumber.

What makes this tank different from a freshwater tank?

There is no distinction to be found. This tank was made to be used as a freshwater tank, and that's exactly what we're doing with it!

I turned it into a diesel overflow/transfer tank for my diesel generator by standing it on end. It was flawless.

This is what we used in our 5-window short bud build. Underneath the couch, it's a perfect fit.
